NARRM Set to Return in 2023
Respect your right to your own opinions, but I can't see how this can be called tokenism (imo)

NARRM Set to Return in 2023
Shouldn't be news. I'd expect this to continue forever now, with more and more teams jumping on the bandwagon no doubt

Tasmanian AFL Team
Islanders or Devils. Both NHL teams haha. I'm totally on board with Tassie joining and potentially a 20th side BUT would hate to see a conference system. Absolutely no need for it imo.

PODCAST: Steven May Interview
I'm keen to know about the hammy injury he played with in the 2021 GF. Feel free to ask in a more eloquent way but as someone who has had a range of hammy injuries it seems wild to me that he was able to play such a big game and was passed fit by the medical staff. Was pain an issue, or was it more of a restriction in movement come game day? Did he have to get pain injections to get through?

Kozzy Pickett Re-Signs for 4 Years
Everyone is looking at the pre-move dynamics of the two examples I gave. I guess for completeness I could have added Weid, Sauce and Bedford to the discussion My point was more around the outcome. The grass isn't always greener, despite the longer contracts and more money out there. Need to balance sucess and enjoyment with the other factors. In years gone by I'd have thought that was a glib statement, but pretty sure the Jackson and Hunts moves would be referenced as possible outcomes at some level during the decision making process.

Kozzy Pickett Re-Signs for 4 Years
The plight of Luke Jackson and Jayden Hunt are proving to be great examples of why players should re-sign rather than go elsewhere. Either go for more money and be held to unrealistic expectations, or go for more opportunities at a weaker club and get thrashed non stop haha. Not saying these situations always play out like this, but they're a great example to guys like Chandler who might have options to consider.

Welcome to Demonland Josh Schache
Good luck to the lad. Weids is playing like a man at the bombers so I have hope Shaq will reinvent himself too. Who would have thought we'd line up without Ben Brown or Tmac in the F50 without injuries being an issue. I'm stoked that the FD are taking a look at the whole squad and aren't scarred to mix things up.

I didn't realise Grundy was this good.
Grundy has been very good, but Max is 6 x AA for a reason. His tap work is great. He's just come back from a knee, so anyone using 1 game as a sample size to compare their tap work needs to take a deep breath

What they are saying at Arden Street
I'm just glad this isn't being played in TAS. Love tassie, but not for playing Norf. Windy suburban ovals are a leveller.

PREGAME: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
I think think our coaches are open to resting and rotating players more so than we have done in recent seasons. I don't think we can take Norf lightly but If May is carrying a niggle I'd rest him and give Disco a crack. Similarly if vineys knee needs a rest Give Dunstan a run. Same goes with Grundy. If he needs a freshen up after covering as a sole ruck, let Shaq a run along side Gawn. Provides an opportunity to reward strong VFL form too

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
I'll take that win over the 50 point victory that I predicted. Hard fought, in a big match. Boys should take alot of belief from that. I echo what alot have said about needing to find our best mix forward and back. With that said, there's so much upside to come. May to get back into form, BBBB to come back in and Petty to go back to defence imo.

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
I'm actually quite confident about this game. Bombers beat us for a number of reasons, but mostly because we were a rabble down back. Brining back Lever and Hibbo should address alot of this. Im also bouyed by the response against the Swans after the Lions loss. Hope to see a similar response this week. Our players like the big occasions too. Lastly im putting blind faith in travel being a contributing factor in the lack lustre performance in SA. Trips to QLD, WA and SA to start the season didn't help our cause. Dees by 50

Penfolds Wines
I had 6 bottles of that wine and it was terrible (probably should have cellared them....). In comparison the Emblem and Team of the Century Shiraz that Tyrrel's did close to a decade ago was pretty good!

Farewell Brodie Grundy
I think this is the standard type of over-saturated-AFL-media hyperbole. I get that making a weeks worth of material out of 9 games can be tough, but the media go way over the top with their assessment of players and teams early in the season. Bombers killed us all over the park. Grundy was a lone ruck against 2 rucks with a good game plan. End of story
