100% agree. I enjoy watching our womens team play because they are our team. Im sure it win us some new fans - some who are daughters and sons of dees fans who hadnt really commited, some women who are partners to dees fans and some who come to the mens team via the womens team (the converse of my experience). The dees should rebuild the melbourne vixens connection (a very short lived dalliance). Demons can be vixens and vice versa

Go to the home screen of home app. In the left corner you will see 3 bars. This is a menu. When you tap it it brings up your details and near the top is the cast audio/screen option

Made worse by their communication about the issue. Spoke to their call centre twice. Clueless. Spent about 2 hours on my tablet and pc trying to gwt my live pass. Sent emails. Goigled it in the end to find the answer. Hopeless

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
binman replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in General Discussion
Agree and you would have to assume there is fair chance it was Hird who both recorded and leaked it. If it was him it really beggars belief. It might well be a manifestation of him being unwell - an leaving aside the hypocrisy of him leaking given his trenchant criticism of the AFL for doing so - but if was him it can only be a bad thing to have more media about this story. But more concerning would be the decision of the Hun to run with it and make it front page news no less with probably dozen related articles (regardless of who leaked it). They ran big stories about his mental health when he was hospitalized and gave air time to people who slammed the media and the AFL for bullying him and causing him to become unwell. And now they put this out there when it can only harm his mental health? Irresponsible. -
THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS

Another sad chapter in this sad story. And one that show just how compromised the Herald Sun is in all of this. As Gil said there is absolutely nothing new here and nothing even remotely newsworthy. Faced with nearly an entire list being suspended the inner sanctum, after thinking they might escape this scenario because of a commitment they thought they had from Gil are furious. That seems to be the gist of it. Of course they are furious. Next they'l run a story with the headline Man stubs toe and says OW Even more ridiculous is that a peanut MP thinks this somehow justifies an enquiry. Please. I haven't bothered with the articles but is there any detail on who recorded the meeting, if those present knew it was being recorded and who gave the recording to the Hun? -
Yes. Currently you can only use your live pass on the device you first registered with. A technical problem apparently that they have said they will resolve before the start of the AFL season. So if you loaded it on your tiny phone as i did you are stuck with that option (or chrome casting it, something I've yet to do because i don't have one) Hopeless and if you had purchased your live pass (as opposed to a Tesltra account) even more annoying as you are not getting what you paid for (eg the capacity to watch replays on your PC, something which i want to do - in fact if i can't watch a game i will do a media blackout and watch 'live' as soon as i can after the 12 hours post game it is loaded. I will have this issue on Sat as i can't watch the blues game.) I'll bet they won't offer any pro rata refund

I can see how you could confuse them. Very similar builds

I see your point MD but the last thing we, as dees fans, is to help drive potentially destabilising rumors - at least about pour players! Fan forums have become an accepted place for sourcing news, rumours and information in exactly the same was as twitter and Facebook. I have no doubt one of the fist thing wallys like Sam McClure (who i dislike more and more every season - so smug!) when they get to work is skim through Bigfoorty and the various fan sites looking for some gossip to peddle. I would if trading in gossip was my job.

Insert not sure if serious gif

I get what you are implying but im not convinced of the logic. If there was a 'legal' issue the club is not informed
-
I give up. You win.
-
Do you believe Jack - or perhaps he is lying? Maybe he always lies to you about being cool about not being selected and facing yet more public scrutiny? How do i establish the veracity of jack's reply?
-
What? What does being non judgmental or non judgmental have to do with anything? You - not someone else - said you never believe a player's answer about an injury. If you never believe a player on what basis can someone receiving that information second hand 'happily make their own judgement on the veracity of a reply from a player'.
-
So let me get this straight. You don't believe anything a players says about their injury. Why do you ask then? And why, prey tell do you post their answers on DL? My head hurts.
-
100% agree on both counts (though to be honest i would love to know what parameters he is not meeting - but glad they have not got out)
-
I'm actually glad they didn't pick him. They have made it clear that has not met the team KPIs, which i suspect is you train at 110% intensity each and every training session, weight session etc etc. Mahoney said almost exactly the same thing as TMac - he has improved in the last 2-3 weeks. I'm glad 2-3 weeks of training at the required level does not get you a game under Goodwin. Lets hope he tore it up today, does so gain next week and gets a crack in the last game. To be honest i'm really jacked off (pardon the pun) with JW. I had hoped the penny had dropped. For god's sake he is 26 and played over 100 games of AFL football. He is coming off his best year, a year made possible by his hard work in the pre season and intensity he brought to the table (remember how good he was in NAB cup) and he eases up. Where's his head at?
-
If true there is no doubt Goodwin will be asked about it
-
I assume it is the same as last week - ie with the bar code on your members ticket you can get a reserved ticket for $5 on the Tickeytmaster site. However the only reason to do so would be if you are concerned the game will sell out. Personally i think that is very unlikely - not least becasue dees fans don't like travelling all the way to the Docklands let alone Cranbourne.
-
But as VP points out above there was always going to be speculation as to why JW was not picked after Godwin made a point about picking the best 22. Being straight (as opposed to putting out a half lie or some spin) would have been the go
-
I reckon Goodwin should have, in his presser prior to the dogs game, said something like: 'We are not selecting Jack this week because although he is fit, his attitude is ok and has been ok at training he has not met some internal KPI's set for him, which remain in house. All players have nonnegotiable KPIs to meet and won't be picked for pre season or regular season game if they are not met' This would have sent the same message to jack, saved the rumor mill from going into overdrive and made tmac and gawny's job a bit easier. Of course there would have still been speculation about what the KPIs might have been but discussion would have been limited to that not speculation about wild board short related partying, cocaine and strippers (disclaimer: please note journos that last line was a joke. I have no knowledge of wild board short related partying, cocaine and strippers, at least in regard to Jack. That fella from Richmond that's another story......)
-
That was my guess as well but TMac specifically said that he had improved his training in the last 2-3 weeks (and ALFL.com said he trained hard yesterday and did goal kicking after everyone else had left the track) which implies it had dropped of prior to that. They'll pick him this week.
