GOODBYE MITCH CLARK
Deetective Sgt. Taggert replied to The Song Formerly Known As's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yeah it sucks he's gone but we were always lucky to have poached him to begin with, and given how little output we got from him over the last season and a half, I don't think his absence is going to be glaringly obvious come round 1. It's time to move on folks. Edit: and if you need some inspiration on how to move on then check out Open Mike with Robbie Flower -
Read my lips says Josh Mahoney

Good point, I am sure the offers we allegedly made to a number of high profile players would have been seriously considered by the player, but unfortunately couldn't get all the ducks in line... -
While I severely doubt there is any likelihood of Kennedy being traded out, its not out of the question that one of Sydney's younger mids could be shaken out. I also can't help but wonder if the AFL's move to prevent them from trading in players was done to try to force them to trade out a player in exchange for picks to a lowly club like us?

You figured after 5 hours and 14 pages of speculation about this very same rumour that we would love to hear this... ???!!!!

Does this contradict what JJH said he heard about us pursuing Beams in the Trengove to Richmond thread?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JEFF GARLETT
Deetective Sgt. Taggert replied to Demon3's topic in Melbourne Demons
While not the most inspiring interview of all time I though it was quite a refreshing to have a player who hasn't been trained to churn out the same old lines. Also like the fact he said when he's enjoying his footy he plays his best, which I think fits nicely with the coaching approach of Roos. -

With Collingwood missing out on Clark perhaps he might become part of the Beams deal?
