  1. Quick movement through the midfield is killing us. No time for the defence to set up. The loss of Rodan in the centre is surprisingly hurting us. Also the nothing Pederson is giving us as well!
  2. Our talls look so above the crows but surprise surprise...midfield, Glad to be up at quarter time
  3. And it's started back showing Rodan coming off the ground...thanks AFL
  4. AFL stream is down. Rodan injury bad?
  5. Roos was speaking at the NGV tonight. Bucks, Ball, The North Leadership Group among the attendees. Didn't see any dees there but there were a couple of hundred in attendance. He was asked about the Melbourne coaching job by none other than Ron Barassi himself. Every other answer he gave that night was long with explanation, with that it was a simple no. However, for the rest of the night he used Melbourne as an example when he was talking about building culture within an organisation, getting the right people in etc. He thinks the world of PJ.
  6. Can you please be our coach. He listens to you.
  7. Get excited we are coming back. We shall win the Boyd cup!
  8. Clisby's had a good quarter so at least we have a positive.
  9. Still watching to work out who I give votes to this week. Someone help me please...
  10. Cellar Dwellers in for next year! Thanks
  11. Terlich, Clisby and Jones aren't eligible. Kent, Viney and Toumpas are. I still hold out hope that 2 of them will be nominated. Toump (9 games), Kent (8 games) I assume will get over the 10 so they won't be eligible for 2014. Viney is currently on 6
  12. I assume Dunn will be given the job on Rocky/Hanley as they rotate in the forward line so I dont think he will go. I think Barry will play, had a good game in the 2's and we are going to Darwin.....Rodan got injured so without him having a run last week I would want to get him through a game in Casey to see him play a game to get recalled. To be honest I am expecting Barry to go up as an emergency and be a late change to be the sub. In: EMG: Barry, Viney, Pedersen Out: EMG McKenzie, Rodan, Pedersen
  13. Llyod - He's (Roos) said no, so move on - unless he has said something behind the scenes Carro - Get Williams very strongly Hutchy - He says we are looking for a saviour and we shouldn't. We dont need a saviour and re-build with the right coach from the ground up. Then tried to say we have been terrible forever and Gary and Carro shut him down (I liked that) Gary - It sounds like he thinks Roos will (links to Hird's comments)
  14. At least it allows us to look back.... The poll on the website of the NAB AFL draftees who will play the most AFL matches in 2013? Viney - 60% (6 games) Toumpas 27% (8) Terlich 7% (13) Kent 4% (7) Jones 2% (14) How wrong we were
  15. I agree that Mac, Gillies, Sellar we need to see the back of but what happens if there is a injury down back. We need to keep Davis at least for another year as insurance just in case.
  16. 6 Garland (8 Tackles as well as so many spoils) 5 Fitzpatrick (Contested and Lead up Marks) 4 Terlich 3 N Jones 2 Frawley 1 Watts
  17. It was a great kick - just straight to Sydney. The effort and endeavour has been good. Happy with our rucks around the ground although smashed in the hit outs. A lot to like even though we are 6 goals down.
  18. Usually I'd be skeptical about any rumours this time of year but I have been wondering what set Harry O off. Maybe this is it?
  19. With Sheed out 6-8 he'll be off the table. He'll drop to 7-10 now. Dunstan or Kelly it will look like so far.
  20. Not a bad rookie draft he was part of. Mumford, Stevenson, Grima, Moles, Hanley, Petrenko, Laidler, Ellard, Curnow, B. Martin, Wilkes. In a Cotchin Kruzier draft - it was a strong year and glad for us he stuck at it.
  21. Won best on. Some really good performances across the board. Loved the work of 3, 5, 17, 18 and 31!
  22. McDonald: Different feel at the Dees 11.18AM 26-6-2013 Melbourne defender Tom McDonald has told SEN that there is a different feel around the club in the wake of Mark Neeld’s departure as senior coach. “It was a bit of a shock, but then because there has been so much media around what was going to happen, some people were just waiting for it to happen,” he said. “Now that it’s happened, it’s done and people can move on past it.” “Neil Craig is a different voice and he’s been fantastic.” “There is definitely a different feel around the club, but it was a shock to happen on that Monday morning when we came in.” With speculation and media scrutiny engulfing the club over the past few months, McDonald said that it has been refreshing to not have every step monitored by journalists and reporters. “It was nice to come in after the game on Sunday and not have media there first thing for recovery,” he said. “To be honest it doesn’t really impact on how we play if there is media there or there is stuff written in the paper. I tend to just worry about what we are doing on the field.” “It is nice to have the fanfare off, but until we start winning it’s still going to hang around.” McDonald is one of the Demons up and coming young stars and was handed the tough task of standing St Kilda captain Nick Riewoldt in his 250th game at the weekend. Despite the daunting task, McDonald said that it was a challenge that he enjoyed. “He’s a massive worker, everyone knows that – we have all seen it, read about it,” he said. “I try to pride myself on endurance running as wells so I knew that we were going be in for a good battle running up and down the field.” McDonald said that he focused heavily on his concentration levels in the week leading up to the game. “The big thing I focused on with the coaches was concentration, because a little half a second slip up, he’s smart enough to know when to lead and where to lead when you have a mistake like that,” he said. “That’s probably harder than the physical stuff – the concentration for 120 minutes not to make a little slip up so that he gets you on a little lead 20m out and gets an easy goal on you.” “I was exhausted by the end of the game, and I think he was too.”
  23. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH The sky is falling! The sky is falling! I like your thinking focusing on our mid issue, but maybe you should be offering one fo the other key forwards (Clark or Dawes) not Hogan.
  24. Sorry for the ignorance but what is OB? Thanks
