I've never seen a Bernie game like this. We really dont have more than 15 players out there (if that). ANB and Grimes are really getting amongst it and trying to be hard at the contest but we just dont have the cattle at all.

I'd be thinking that Frost might be that full back you are looking for. Possibly Weiderman as that full forward but no idea where the rest will come from. It's exciting though.

He was barely there (if at all) all day. Jones went forward, Vince went back. It was Newton, Viney and (rotating young mid).

What is with all the Grimes and Watts hating this week. There are 18 players in the gun before these 2.

6. Grimes - from the start to the end. When we made a challenge he was at the coalface. 5. McDonald - still a great mark and works hard. Love that we are using him in the middle. 4. Watts - although faded a little, still was an important cog and who knows what would have happened without him there. 3. Newton - clearances. He had some. 2. ANB - really showed some hardness and a guy who makes leads all day (he's 1 of 2) 1. Michie - he did stuff in the first half when no one else turned up.

Had him as a top 5 target for next year mid-season. He's increased his value this year though which has hurt our chance of getting him for close to nothing. Happy to hand over something for him. Maybe a second rounder depending on where it falls.

Out: Lamumba (sorry bud we just need to give you a break. Maybe you can have the 'general'), Bail (some redeeming acts still can't save you. You have so much speed - you need to lead at the ball carrier), Jetta (you are too important to risk). 6 - McDonald - one of a few bright sparks yesterday. Poor guy got burnt by his teammates in the back 50 but stood up strongly. 5 - Watts - first 3 quarters were great and 2 important contested marks. If his team mates moved and lead when he had the ball (looking at you Bail) we wouldn't have the silly turn overs 4 - Hogan - how did he get 3 goals? Seriously with our delivery! 3 - Viney - strong second half to help get us some respectability 2 - Harmes - 9 tackles. Some disposal error but 9 tackles 1 - Grimes - 2 good quarters of football where he just controlled the football. Was going to give to Michie who played a solid second half but Grimes was switched on from minute one.

I'm assuming you are not here. McDonald is the only thing between us and another 186. Some good tackling efforts by Harmes. Over reaction much!

Have a look at the age of the club and the top round picks that are ready to come in next year for them. I feel they are a key position player short but if they nab Trelor and can temp Danger - they'll be top 4 next year.

I watched a whole heap of footage after reading that today. Forgot how much a 1-2 team him and Brayshaw were during the championships.

Sheesh what happened to Toump! You'd hope the flu. Although he hasnt been getting a heap of the ball he has been laying tackles like a pigdog. Only 1 yesterday. Our outsiders were killed yesterday. 11 to Stretch but only 4 kicks, Hunt only had 6 and so did Toump. Good to see JKH and Salem get a heap of it to. JKH 2 rebounds from 50 and 3 inside 50s. Good work young man. Hope the manflu passes ready for next week. Toump has now played enough 2 games to qualify (right?) for finals. Would love to see him have a solid finals series to lead into next year.

I have memories of how good he was at the start of the year so when he isnt keeping an opposition to 0 goals and having 25 himself his name just doesnt come up. He played a really good game and he is so smart. Watching him peel off to read the flight and help out his fellow backs is great. I was scared a couple of years back about loosing Frawley then Gardland, but now with the hopeful return of frost I'm feeling happy about it.

I'd rookie him. He's playing down back at the moment for the 2's. Still young.

Of all weeks this might be one for another tall. Could be Jamar's chance to come into the side at the expense of one of our little guys. Although with Fitzy playing well - maybe he'll come in and play on the tall forwards.

For all of those thinking rookie pick - I'm guessing you haven't seen footage or seen him live. The boy is going into the national draft and I assume he'll end up a Dee. It's not a deep draft at all. He will attract some interest - just something around our 4th. Might have to pay mid third for him.
