2.4 to Buddy and 2 of those when the ball was parked in the inside 50. Riv was good on Rough considering the ball down there and Chip (love him) but was just parked at the 25mtr line all night. Nup, not the back line really. The kick outs is just a head case all together and if was a breathing organism would be summoned to the psych ward immediately! What a disgrace! Wellman was there and we were just as insipid at kick in's. There should be more belief drilled into these players. They seem too hesitant far too often.
-
Think we'd be splitting hairs stuie. I'm not sure I've seen anyone out there since the half time siren went. Especially any imprint of a game plan or influence from the coach. Where's the belief? It's hard to watch Dees!!
-
Bailey out.
-
Starts elsewhere. Those in the backline did as well as anyone else that couldn't give a fig.
-
Disgraceful.
-
Not even Gold Coast had 19 scoring shots against them last night. Who is accountable for this? It is embarrassing and there are players out there that should be better than this. To not even touch the football? Horrible.
-
7K is quite a mountain still considering it is April 1. If we win this week and get on a roll into the next few it might well be done. A decent year and 40K will happen in 2012

This entire second page has little to do with the first. Where has this thread gone??
-
Great writer and great Demon. Get him on the 'G before a game.

Tell that to the 15 yr old pitcher that had a fly ball direct straight back at his head. Serious damage. The metal bat debate around MLB is central to head injuries because of the power and speed the ball leaves a metal bat as opposed to a wood one. Sidney Crosby in NHL has been out since Jan 5 with concussion, has been training fully for a month but is still not playing and as pointed out above it is defiantly from here that the AFL have taken the lead. Crosby is due to return in the next week or two. I couldn't imagine an AFL playing sitting out half a season due to this but the more stories that come out from the likes of Dan Bell then maybe more will take the proper precautions. He interviewed well on SEN this morning and I wish him well.

Even better than the thread is this contribution. Maturity is shown by those that don't let little things work them up. Three exclamation marks tells me you are far too emotive and demanding that those that don't agree with your point of view should not say anything at all. Perhaps you should have taken that advice. Why is it a thread? Um, because it concerns MFC and we all have an investment and have a right to an opinion. Regardless of how you feel about that.

Robbie, it's not like I expected Cam to announce this at the Debt Demolition meeting! Where do you get 'it's not unreasonable for a member to ask' to me asking for him to be stripped down at an AGM? Besides, from your point of view he has very little to be embarrassed or uncomfortable about? Or am I misinterpreting you?
-
Hawthorn's first half last week was much, much better than our best against Sydney. On that exposed form I'll be happy with a competitive result. The day we roll Hawthorn over (perhaps Esserdon) is the day we have turned the corner. I am sick and tied of being slapped up by those b*****s!
-
Why? Does Cam pay a membership fee each year to Ned's employer? Obviously many are unhappy the story was reported by Caroline but now that has been highlighted as opposed to listed in a report, it's not unreasonable that a member may ask the question of Cam or another MFC board member directly? As opposed to hypothesising here perhaps? I'm not sure why anyone has any annoyance, 1 - with the story and 2 - with members that question this.
-
Yes, your both correct as it does appear. Still not sure they would want it out there in a column as it was and would have preferred it stayed buried in the report perhaps? Not scurrilous at all Robbie.
-
Don't like this very much. Like a lot less the insinuation that the journalist has any blame????? Seriously, do some of you expect Caroline Wilson to write about our kicking out issues? She is there for other stories and for the most part is spot on. More so than many others who highlight all over the place when she is wrong, much like Triple M & SEN having a go at her for picking Dane Swan as the player likely to go to GWS, they never mentioned the other three journo's that looked bad on that call. But hey, why wreck a good story. She has written the story and I'm glad she did as I want to know about this. I'm sure Cam and MFC didn't really want it out there and therein lies my problem. It's not right.
-
Really???? Other than a confirmation he has signed with someone what was your thought before you opened this? It was posted after his manager discussed the situation, fair enough I would've thought otherwise why bother responding???? Garbage response as better to say nothing RR. Geez... I agree that the Scully situation should be confined to one thread. But others within this thread with their high horse moral ground come straight to the Scully thread, seemingly so that can shout loud it means nothing. Why? Do you all think shouting loud enough will change anything? Are you just wanting to make your case so you can say "I told you so" to people you don't even know? It's worth a discussion especially after his manager brings it up. Don't bloody open the thread then. This topic will go on until a contract is signed, get used to it or ignore it. Until your outrage when he is in the V Line jumper!
-
There is much of the season to be played out yet but I agree there are some concerns. Would he had the same impact as Rick P yesterday? Not likely and although he is the type to work into a game, not sure he can be the pressure forward without the ball.
-
Shocking report. The swan fan jumping up in joy about it was obviously waiting 6 mths to see players rubbed out - the joy! Average umpiring all round yesterday, other games I saw were much better.
-
Good game by Beam, his stoppage/clearance work isn't in question just his decision making and yesterday I thought he made some better decisions than I have seen is some time. Nice give and go handballs was a good link and kicked well when he needed to. Good to see less than 95% of his disposals being long bombs forward.
-
x 3 Great debut.
-
I love this nickname around Stef, it is an experience indeed! Played well and looked to have an appetite more than ever. Has everything else going for him.
-
This guy struggled today. Jack Grimes kicking was quite off. Liam Jurrah should play in front more. Nathan Jones tries hard.
-
Hard to think Gysberts would be totally decisive but I'd like to see him if he's fit enough. Good at stoppages & against Hawthorn especially we struggle in that department. Frawley in.
