Hey GG, this was the response: The club are usually pretty good with these responses. I'd suppose they factor in costs of re-prints and mail outs. I'd send one to them because if your like me, it is disappointing not to be able to show your pride. Dear Michael, Thank you for your email. We apologise that your stickers and lanyard was not printed correctly. We have not heard of stickers running yet but I am happy to send you out some new ones that are printed correctly. Kind regards, Jane Lonsdale | Membership Officer

Dodgy a few weeks ago, gets played and is now out for 4 weeks. Might not be serious but not sure it was managed well enough but who am I to judge. HT already let the cat out of the bag with reference to GWS and he may be correct there. So Scully only has 18 games left in red and blue at best?

I think they are coming alphabetically
-
Are they relaxing the laws over there? The last 20 years were ok.
-
Thanks for feedback all. Agree with The Great One - last year mine faded badly also. I've flicked an email to the club as I do want them on my car. Go Dees!

Round one has so much invested in it. Fans hanging out for that first bounce. I suspect some of us Demons are a little less circumspect after some less than impressive displays against Brisbane and Hawthorn. Twitter does seem to be the new media so I'll take those match reports as gospel!! Besides this being Rnd 1, I think there is much at stake in this first fixture. If we allow ourselves to crystal ball a little one might hope that we could beat Gold Coast and Brisbane, (creating history to be the first team to beat both sides from the Northern state perhaps?)even allowing for a loss to Hawforn, a 3-1 record would hold us in good stead. 2-2 would not be too shabby at all, but 3-1 gives much more hope. Sydney will be burning from the 12 goal loss we dished out last year and if we can achieve another win this week it will be a huge positive.

Hi all, Not sure if mentioned previously or others received the same but last night I received the lanyard and members stickers etc as part of my membership. The stickers are simply awful. The printing looks as though a 3yr old has attempted to match color within lines as they bleed all over the place and the actual message, looks terrible due to this fault. 23rd consecutive year of membership and I've never had an issue, I hate to gripe, but I really do enjoy getting that little package each year and am disappointed that I can't display my demon pride this year.

HT, I would like to see him in. I was at the game Saturday and although he was far from dominant, he was noticed around the stoppages and extracts a fair amount of ball from these contests. I don't need to mention how lacking we are in this area. I think he should play. His ability in this area alone will be a positive and time on ground can be managed. Luke Tapscott is another that should play in round 1 as he will win plenty of ball at AFL level and his use of it is so much better than some we have chopping it up currently. I though Spencer looked really good in the ruck and Gawn is looking bigger in the arms. Blease impresses also when he can get the ball from a stoppage and has a clean pair of heels, I've seen these a few times now at Casey and hope to see it soon in Demon red and blue. Petterd was excellent and will play. I was hugely surprised with how quick Wonna's body shape has got back to the required state, he looks better than this time last year IMO and will be close rnd 1. Great sign! Tom McDonald - really impressive and will be close very soon on this form. Joel Mac beware!

Believe they did e. Friend of mine purchased one from the shop, so he says anyway and that they had the same 'pink' issue. Not seen in person myself.

Wasn't really intending to be a smartarse. Your comments, namely around Trengove in the example I spoke of seems to indicate a bit more than a guess. Jack Trengove (ankle) - Very short term injury - might need a week, should be right. Especially so that there is an article advising that he is 50/50 for Round 1. Being that he missed last week and that round 1 is still 9 days away my 'guess' is that its more than just 'might need a week, should be right'. My last comment was to highlight from what many here seem to dismiss as a non issue last week and that he was likely 'being rested to allow others more game time'. Nothing to do with being dismissive or smart.
-
Glad your here to sift through the vagueness around. Seems at least you know more about Trengove than the comments from last week that 'he is just being rested to give others needed game time'.

Like the group nominated here. Tapscott & Blease are more than capable to end up in the the very good players, at least. Am hopeful for more from these two. Frawley is on his way. If he and Garland are regular All Australian prospects over the next few years, this will be a solid indicator also as to where we are. If they are dominating, fair to say that the midfield, with the names above are also dominant. At the very least, winning a stoppage or two!
-
Very commendable. Hopefully the young man is also. He is Max Gawn.
-
Why is it a shock? Expect to miss.
-
Any MFC players involved in game against Frankston @ Casey this Saturday?
-
"We want the world and we want it now"!!!
-
If Grimes doesn't get injured he will walk in the B&F.
-
Obvious to say we miss Frawley down there.
-
At least Beamer has an objective for today other than, see ball, kick ball long...

Best post regarding Watts I've read yet. My in-laws are all aints and they were vicious about Goddard.

St John's College - Dandenong. Had it's own little red brick road that was appealing but hardly private, no. Me just spell good.

Well said HT. The only thing I could add is having a close hand knowledge of addiction, he seems to be reasoning with himself still. This is a sign that his head is far far away from being clear. That is not a bad thing, just unfortunate that the Herald Sun and media are there to see every little step, because this helps no one. Be nice if he could go away somewhere other than the USA/LA, part of his reasoning would be behind this decision. Everyone deserves to be happy and hopefully Fev can find this place.
-
So do his opponents.

Being one of those blue sky merchants I don't really know what to think. Except for pity and pity doesn't help anyone. I'm not surprised by fall backs he encounters along the way, as you point out he is far from clean of his issues. But I am surprised how quickly he fell. Being in such a public place it can only be a cry for help.
