I suspect DSP that some may have hoped he would be able to come from behind for the Downlow this year, and anything less would be a dismal failure by a spud or a dud :-(( Exactly .... get the ball, then use it. I was sick of being told month after month that Strauss was an elite user of the ball (and Adam Maric for that matter) but they hardly ever touched it. I believe Cale Morton was also an elite user of the ball ..... and so on.

Fair dinkum -- if he comes out and says what a great last half / quarter etc we had, showed signs etc then I may well return my membership and not renew it until we get a coach with balls. "our brand" blah blah blah .... unfortunately our brand is weak uncontested footy with not even the flair we occasionally showed last year to make up for abysmal inability to convert I 50s.

I was really disappointed pre season that other commitments would mean I would get to very few games this season but I bought my membership in hope and for support. Sadly the club / team has dishonoured that support and I doubt it will come again soon Absolutely pathetic “effort” on the field and pathetic selections set it all up. Where are the standards set by Roos and Jackson???
