That moron Christian will justify anything he is told to from above. Can't have important Freo players out too long, and after all it was only a MFC player he butted.

Must be a pack of deplorable racists!? Christian really has no idea - still, as an AFL appointee I guess one wouldn't expect him to.

Oscar McDonald
Maybe after all the [censored] piled on him from here he needs a 'mental health' break from the pressure. Yeah, of course. He requested a trade to Colonwood so that he could play as a high flying forward Perhaps our new "elite performance" guy, or whatever his title will be, can help here?

Coburg v Casey Demons - Round 12
Wasn’t wondering, actually, but will note that KK is also of that genre, as was Mark Jamar whom the ignorant Phil Clearly referred to as The Russian. (Just in case anyone was interested, which I suspect not.) ?

Has the AFL Overstepped its Remit?
Which 50%? Almost certainly the first 50% - the Sports Wagering bit and not the Integrity Monitoring

Fans Behaving Badly?
Just happens to be a colon wood bye week ? And as for not being allowed to boo re disability - does Gill class incompetence and poor vision as disabilities?

Try OMac at CHF at Casey
Well if he read some of the continuing personal negative posts on this forum one wouldn’t be really surprised. He is a MFC listed player, as is his brother ..... constructive criticism may be useful but the continuing negativity (spud, dud , etc) is not helpful to anyone. It almost seems than once some posters feel a player is not going to be a star, or even not make the grade (as many from all clubs don’t) they enjoy seeing them fail and stick the knives in at every opportunity. I wish him well and hope he recovers from whatever is troubling him, and that he comes back hard and makes these naysayers eat their words. GO DEMONS!

Coburg v Casey Demons - Round 12
Barrie! Shh! Bloody Gil and his Shocking mate are surely looking for their next raft of rule changes “to stamp their mark on the brand” (is that appropriate corporate speak?) and may take inspiration from your idea. Has anyone considered that perhaps he has taken some of the personal vilification he gets to heart and may be suffering like few of us could appreciate? Further perhaps this at least in part explains the otherwise inexplicable crash in form of his bro?

Injury List - Season 2019
I suspect that after tomorrow’s game the Jesse thread may be resurrected, however he plays and whatever the result. Either should have kept him if he plays well (even though he was desperate to head west and would have been a reluctant player had we insisted) ; or we don’t miss him in the unlikely event that he plays poorly and we win.

Jaidyn Stephenson Betting Scandal
Pokies have nothing much to recommend them, but the one thing in this context at least is that they can’t, as fast as I can see, have the potential to effect the, quaintly termed, integrity of the game.

Round 14 Non MFC Games
Perhaps the “AFL Integrity Unit” ??? should look into it? Seriously, it doesn’t look good for the (minuscule residual) integrity of the game.

Injury List - Season 2019
Is Garlett’s latest problem really recurrent shoulder dislocation? FFS we just cannot take a trick. Won’t see him again in RnB I reckon. And does Hibberd really have a screw loose? Probably done for the year too. I can understand “rushing back” an important player with clavicular plating IF it was pivotal in a finals bid (didn’t we, unsuccessfully as it turned out, try this with Jesse in 2017?) but really what was the point of risking longer term problems when the goal was not there? Rapidly losing any residual interest in footy for 2019.

Jaidyn Stephenson Betting Scandal
I don't believe (m)any are using this to shield Stephenson from his stupidity, but nor should we shield Gil (and all his colleagues at AFL HQ) from hypocrisy for their dependence on gaming and gambling revenue. Frankly, when these sportsbet, betfast, multi, etc or whatever brand ads come on I often change the channel (or radio station) and sometimes forget to turn it back. It is a real turnoff. There must be figures somewhere showing the percentage of AFL revenue that comes from the gaming / gambling / betting industry.

But we don't feel the need to employ a sports psychologist? Or a kicking coach? She'll be right mate.

Dees Confirm Chase for Arsenal Fitness Guru
No way ... here at Demonland we always rush into premature judgement. Can't wait and see. Question: does the "fitness guru" make immediate decisions about injury management? Surely that is the role of the club doctors and perhaps the physiotherapists? The "fitness guru" is to get them all into, and keep them in, the best shape for the role each player has. Some will require more endurance work, others emphasis on agility and / or burst.

Jaidyn Stephenson Betting Scandal
The strangely (and perhaps inappropriately) named AFL Integrity Office deemed that this was to be the case. I wonder if anyone at AFL HQ has ever done an enquiry into the integrity of the Integrity Office. I am not a gambling person, but I would be willing to bet $50 that he broke the standard team rules. Where can I place that bet?

Jaidyn Stephenson Betting Scandal
Maybe he thought it was a roulette wheel? Otherwise?? Long gone, horse bolted. And the AFL's dependency on gambling advertising is just the tip of the iceberg. Pot .... kettle .... black!
