  1. “As a kid watching Man Utd win every year even they had an ok team used to drive me insane” You must be a lot younger than me then. As a kid I used to watch Demons win every year, and it didn’t drive me insane. It was the next 56 years that did that to me.
  2. The inconsistency on the insufficient intent only makes the rules even more farcical In the last 5 minutes two identical spoils go out of bounds. One, by Hawks, trow in. The next by Crows - penalised. Get rid of it.
  3. WTF that 50??
  4. The 'insufficient intent' rule is an absolute blight on the game. Crow trying to rush the ball into their scoring zone, mis kicks and pinged. Absolute joke AFL.
  5. Do we have any picks to trade??? 🫰or🫛?
  6. More like the MRO is a totally one eyed intellectually challenged Collingwood hack. How long do the clubs tolerate this absolute disgrace? Pushing an opponent into a dangerous situation, like Moore did to Melksham, was at the start of the season deemed to warrant a suspension. But that halfwit Christian didn’t see that. He urgently needs to be replaced.
  7. Did he say he (and the team) are sick of kicking behinds instead of goals? HINT: so are the fans
  8. A big problem would be, as seen time and time again with the"impartial independent" ex Magpie MRO, having someone unbiased - and someone intelligent would also be welcomed.
  9. Massive media beat up. Expected a headline “more deep divisions at Melbourne”
  10. and is never held to account by their compliant media mates.
  11. Whilst it is devastating to lose to any team by one lousy point, it is far worse when it is to Collingwood. The umpiring was the worst and most biased that I can remember, and the opposition ball movement and forward delivery very slick, yet we lost by only a solitary point. I was very proud of the intense pressure applied all day, and look forward to the pressure stats that you present so well on the podcast Once again we shot ourselves in the foot by poor conversion, both set shot and snaps, and delivery into F50 was random and poor. An issue that has plagued us for years, yet despite platitudes from the coaching staff has not been addressed. And one point I have made in another thread that remains a major risk management problem, is the inappropriate rewarding of players who intentionally put themselves at risk by driving headlong into the torso of an opponent. It happened a couple of times that I can remember today with Collingwood being the beneficiary of course. Some day, sooner or later, this reckless act WILL INEVITABLY result in a life changing injury, a broken neck and spinal cord, and inappropriate shaming and guilt on the receiver of the head butt. This recklessness needs to be penalized, every time, and not rewarded. The AFL will of course proclaim shock and horror, but will not do anything to stop or deter this until tragedy strikes.

  13. As mentioned by another poster above, one of my pet hates is players driving their heads into the torso of an opponent, and getting a free kick. I recall at least two today both of course to Collingwood. Some day, sooner or later, the “ducker” WILL suffer a broken neck and the buttee will be made to feel guilty and probably face a long suspension If there was one rule I could change it would be to penalise the player who drives his head into an opponents torso, putting himself at risk of life changing injury Of course the AFL will do nothing until the tragedy occurs, then wring its hands in mock sorrow They could fix it this week even without changing the rules, just the “interpretation” Players would very soon stop doing it if penalised every time
  14. So happy that they focused on goalkingi this week Really showed and again cost us a game.
  15. Bombing it on th ir heads is hopeless.
  16. Maybe it is both.
  17. Not sure that their premiership player aka impartial and consistent MRO would be as lenient were a Magpie to be bumped. However if a Magpie were the bumper, ????
  18. for 50 goals, 700 behinds, 100 OBOF and 150 short???
  19. Sadly no longer up to it What did happen with Adam and Hore I didn’t see much of the game.
  20. Well I sincerely hope that the special focus on goal kicking this week didn't include the Casey players who triumphed with 7 G 15 B tonight.
  21. A ground out win but typical Demon scoreline 7-15
  22. And now a non clear free to 😎 for a gift goal.
  23. Sure, maybe. Doesn’t look like much wind By the way - great to see Cox out there. Max’s back may feel a little safer - unless Moore gets behind him of course. Also glad to see that the club has put extra emphasis on goal kicking. 6-15 for the game so far.
  24. Anyone at the ground - any reason other than awful football for the appalling scores. Total 10-19.
  25. Was Choco sighted on the track with the Bears team this week?
