In 2012 the MFC had one genuine win. We lost multipule games by large margins, in at least 14 games we were not competitve. This comes at the end of five years that we have been hopeless. I can find nothing to complain about when I look at the players that have been let go. For me it is a simple equation, We had a poor list to improve it you have add new players which means a large number have to be replaced. This will happen again next year. We will be able to judge at the end of 2014 how well the replacements have performed. To be honest the X players I don't care about they were not doing the job at the MFC

I wonder if there is a conflict going on here i.e. the MFC and Casey cannot agree on the candidate? I sense a power struggle. Might be my imagination but something is wrong here.

Jt this club has been a failure for the major part of the last 48 years, the constant jumper changes are a symbol of that. The majority of clubs seem to have settled colours, when was the last time you saw Sydney or Essendon change their red? I too find it a joke that the MFC cannot get the red in the jumper correct ( whatever that is these days ) Why do we have a different shade every year? and this year I am told the blue has changed why? If the target is the colours of the 50's and 60's successful period then send the manufacturer an old jumper and say match this. What is hard about that? I prefer to wear red and blue It is fairly simple I want it red not pink or Maroon

I have been tense on this subject since 2010 BbO Really is it that hard we have two colours ( sorry sometimes white as well ) One is Dark Blue and the other Bright Red. I am struggling with the degree of diffficulty.

Hi JT This may surprise you or perhaps not but the shade of blue does not worry me Navy Blue, Blue black, royal blue I can live with them all. It is the red that gets up my nose we had a number of bright red colours that I was happy with. it was when we seemed to be only able to produced reds that looked pink at night and on TV that got up me going. Then we jumped to Maroon. All I want is a bold bright red and darkish blue. Fairly simple but we seem to make very hard work of it. IMO this the one area where CS has been a total failure. I have no idea what he has been trying to achieve.

Noticed this morning that Mr Tinkler is in more trouble. The ATO has moved to have the Newcastle Jets and Knights wound up. Once again it shows that Private owners of sporting clubs do not work in Australia. I bet Ben Buckley is glad he: (a) did not take the ARL job and (b ) is out of the Soccer game. AFL must be smiling it will get them out of the news for a while.
