    I know you are jesting jnr but that is the root of most of our problems.CS, CC and others were trying to be very clever and use the system instead of doing the hard work. I have believed it all my life and still do You win every game possible and then work out who to draft. All ancient history now. So lets try to get the MFC out of this hole.

    I fully understand what you are saying TUI have held the opinion since the start of the 2012 season that our list was the worst in the Competition and nothing I have seen in the last 33 games makes me think differently. You can pull your socks up quickly if you have some on. The problem as I see it is we don't have much in the hosiery department. Now Please remind me how wrong I was at the half way mark next year when we are 5 - 6.

    while yesterdays comment may not have been his brightest moment. I have a little sympathy for BM. He gave the MFC his best and I believe he would still be playing with us if not for the change to Neeld. He feels vindicated, and after all he is playing in a better side were he feels valued. His nemesis is unemployed. Surely that says something!

    Last night I was discussing this with my Brother who is a Lions member, he is of the opinion that the lions see Roos as the person to take over from Voss.He claims that approaches have been made already. Claims Roos is way more likely to move North from Sydney than South, weather / family reasons etc. Do not be surprised if he knocks us back and takes the Lions job in October.

    I don't agree with this analogy Demon WA there is a one big difference.Freo had a reasonable list versus the MFC has a crap list. It is going to take a few years to fix that, a proven respected coach will get that time.

    Can you spot me a few bb?yes another do nothing day at the MFC I would imagine! Leaving aside the humour I cannot remember a period in our history where we have had a new CEO, President and Coach in such a short time. There appears to be plenty more on the way, I doubt we are going to die wondering between now and the end of 2013 season in August. So far all I can say is thank God the AFL provided Peter Jackson.

    At this point in our history de-luded I do not care what style we employ.As long as it wins games I do not care how boring or attacking or defence it is. Just win games.

    Why most of the previous holders have not covered it in Glory! Based on the results so far he can wear any colour he likes

    I don't think any previous coaches like Roos, Mathews Eade etc will put their hand up while there is a coach in place at a club. But once the incumbent is no long in place the game changes. That is not to say Roos will announce he is available, I just think that he will stop saying NO in public if he has any interest.

    The way things are going wyl I don't get the feeling we are going to have to wait till February. I do not think the current board are dummies. Poor operators perhaps but they know the writing is on the wall. I believe most of them will resign in the next couple of months if not sooner. I reckon the AFL have already seen to it. Then again I thought we were on the right track in 2010

    Yep Sorry I must have given you the wrong impression. I was not suggesting our vote was taken away. Just stating that if no one stands there is no vote required.

    Pray 12 players suddenly improve their ability by 50% Really guys I cannot see him getting this side much better. They are still the same bunch that could not get a kick in a football factory for the last 33 games. At best he can hope for a little more effort over four quarters Beyond that don't hold your breath.
