Training Ground?
Correct! Amazing I made a small joke and it has developed into a debate on history of the Middle East.

2024 Player Reviews: #21 Matthew Jefferson
Correct most of the games I missed were in the second half of the season. I hope you are correct he is sorely needed as a good player in the forward line. I just wish we didn’t have to keep using JVR as a ruckman. IMO he is barely passable as a ruckman and using him that way takes him out of the forward line. Reduces his chances of score involvement.

9 Reasons to be Positive Heading into 2025
He has yet to play a senior game! I would be surprised if his physique changes much. I think he will always be tall and thin. Has to show a lot of improvement in 2025.

9 Reasons to be Positive Heading into 2025
2025 is going to be a big year for a number of players who have been added to our list over the last year or two. IMO the following players will either show big improvement or be gone by the time 2026 rolls around. In no particular order: Kentfield mid year pick who has a summer to get AFL level fit and show reasons to keep him at an AFL club. Tom Fullarton was bought in as a ruck forward to cover for big max / KPF duties. Has only played a few games that look like he would be a success as a KPF at the top level. With our forward problems in 2014 it is very surprising that he could not get a game. why is he on the list never a better chance than this year but not picked? Taj Woewoden, has been around the mark for most of this year but never seemed able to cement a place. With Alex B gone a position opens up for him to fill. Will Verrall, Young ruckman who has not shown more than average ability at VFL level. Put up or begone in 2026. you can only get by on "young " for so long. Other ruckman have been added to the list this trade period it does not look good. Mathew Jefferson, apprenticeship has been served at Casey, IMO in 2025 he needs to play a few games at senior level and show he has the ability to be a regular at senior level. the clock is ticking. Charlie Spargo, after a full year out this season there have been a number of players claiming his spot some have been ok others not so. Put up or its over Charlie. McAdam, the most disappointing recruit for some time. Could hardly justify his spot at Casey. Will need dramatic improvement in 2025.

Last week I asked the club when is the date for the AGM. Answer there isn't one yet. Likely to be mid December.

Wade Derksen
If we want him as a forward what does that say about Jefferson?

Young players training in the USA
Who knows Gouga. I just got the feeling it is not guaranteed from recent events of changes at the racing club.

Young players training in the USA
Don't hold your breath dd. It is not even approved yet and a new set of board members have moved in. They are not as happy with having a football team there as previous members. Next decade at the earliest.

9 Reasons to be Positive Heading into 2025
Careful you will be branded as negative. 2024 has been poor in numerous areas however I think the major reason for our fall this year were injuries. No injury to Trac that ended his season at the half way mark as well as loosing Gus forever ended our year. On the positive side a reasonable run with injuries will see us back in the September action. The recruiting has been successful in the past I am confident we will see some good results in the next few weeks.

9 Reasons to be Positive Heading into 2025
It is wise to remember there more AFL approved media than there are players. They are all trying to justify their existence. Result lots of BS.
