  1. Because they have an existing ground it is that simple. We have ground zero.
  2. As soon as one level changes its mind the project fails. I am glad I am not trying the get this up.
  3. Are you still abstaining from banana smoothies Mr. Leg?
  4. One day of the year hardly justifies having a social club facility. I have a number of friends who are long term members of clubs i.e Richmond and Collingwood who never go to the social clubs they are a hang over from the 1970's. They are way more concerned about maintaining their seats on game day, too many members is their problem.
  5. I think we are lucky to be in this position. The down side is players leave if they cannot get senior games e.g. Bedford.
  6. That is very similar to the conversation I had with someone from the club last year. This G area compulsion is from a vocal minority that seem to have the ear of the board. They are locked in the 1950's. The G area vanished when we missed out on Olympic Park.
  7. Thank you for that. Why is it that the AFL/VFL persist with this one round at a time release? I know it is to keep us all paying attention but I find it extremely frustrating. Publish the lot please!
  8. I think I have some of those DC. The height of class back then.
  9. I know the feeling well DD. Hang in there you need another ten years I reckon.
  10. The mighty Hawks home of Rod Ashman and others who played for Carlton.
  11. Hell no! Country Victoria.
  12. Correct but it wasn't that one.
  13. You are not alone Mr. Leg. In fact you are probably part of a Legion.
  14. My home ground had a Greyhound track around it.
  15. It's similar from Old Dee Hall Bbo.
  16. That is the reason we lost Olympic Park to the Pies. Now or never.
  17. There is always one winner! Let's do it
  18. Why do I feel this is a side show to keep us quiet on the eve of a GM where it will be a major concern from members. Having said that Caulfield has a lot better chance of success this decade than near the G. Just do it and forget about the G area.
  19. I hope he doesn't suffer the Samson affect.
  20. I think you can forward a question to the club before the meeting SD.
  21. Oh please Mr Leg it is going to bad enough without including it in this thread. Can we make it a Kossie free thread please ?
  22. I hope the knee is better WJ.
  23. Thanks PF great report a pity the club wasn’t as proactive.
  24. No idea layzie, even with reduced numbers is it that difficult?
