Benno I have not read it for 30 years but back then I found it very heavy going. Now that might just mean that HP is aimed at kids. Says something about me perhaps!
-
Ever now and then Demon17 you have to spit into the wind. Forget the DD's

Oh god no. That would drive a very stable person to drink. Harry is much better read!

This may surprise you but I actually feel sorry for the kid. The last couple of games he has looked like a lost little boy to me. Hope of couple of games at Casey gives him his confidence back as he looks like he has zero at present. Unfortunately I don't think he is up to AFL standard. If that is correct and there are plenty on here who would howl me down It must be awful if that feeling hits home to you! Hope he improves

I am having a good weekend so far and it is only Thursday night. Davey playing at Casey which IMO is where he should be this weekend.
-
I know that the way they line up is not often reflected in these published sides but I do not understand Bennell on a HBF. I am no rap for him but it seems to me his best games have been when playing in the forward line. Why the HBF? Are we crucifying the kid? Tell me all you admirers out there. Whats with the HBF?

Now WAClark it is time to take a deep breath. Get up from the computer, take a couple of Bex and have a good lie down. Tomorrow is another day. It cannot be that bad mate. The sun will come up Relax
-
How could he have been worse? Blease was on for half a game and Bennell was subbed off!
-
Its offical Tapscott and Maric are in. Out Bennell and Blease That means Davey is either not fit or playing for Casey this weekend. Macdonld probably did not come up either. Interesting to see the Casey side on Sunday.

a typical addiction line rpfc. Now I know you are made of tough stuff you a dees supporter for god sake. It can be done ,Think of other things like who is in the team on saturday night? Concentrate
-
and deservedly so However I think I will crawl off and hide for two weeks in Asia
-
Sorry mate I mean't Blease. Bate was one of the best.
-
Me too KiL. He has changed quite a lot of the team since the Lions defeats and they are still a young team. Still a lot on here hate him and if he walked on water tonight they would not acknowledge it.

Sorry DC I do not agree with you. I think this is a problem that has been with the Dees for too long. Guys like AD have to learn to earn their spot. IMO he has not done that all year before the injury. It is not as though he has only been out of a week or two. Again IMO we have been let done all year by our more senior players. Don't drop a kid for him. Let him play at Casey this weekend and get some fitness and touch back.

Binman it may also be true that as there gets more teams the the talent pool gets spread further and as a result a growing number of teams are simply not good enough. Hence the blow outs.

Unfortunately EGD The AFL is a tough gig as they say all's fair in love and war. you can add AFL to that. I am comfortable with the people at the MFC making the decision. If we get Malthouse and what you say turns out to be true it will not worry me at all on the last day in September when he holds up the cup. I have seen too many false dawns. The only fair thing now for me at the MFC is the one that gets the result. BB knew what he was getting himself into, at years end he will have had 4 years. Time for a decision, tough for him if it goes the wrong way.

Thank you BB Quick and A bit of humour never goes astray

I don't his injury is a very serious one it took Garland a full year to recover from a similar injury.. Lets get him cherry ripe for 2012. we are not going to miss the grand final because he is out. Too good a player to risk for a match at the end of the year.
-
Beats Me WJ I would say that the above may be close to the truth. However all clubs play funny buggars with their injury lists so who could tell what is the real truth. I can never understand who they think they are fooling. Serves little useful purpose that I can tell. Has our messing about with injuries and who is in the team when named on thursday won us a game? From our results you would have to say no.

Afl site says the following for round 17 Rohan Bail knee 2-3 weeks Aaron Davey knee test Jack Fitzpatrick ankle 1-2 weeks Jack Grimes foot season Nevile Jetta hand 1 week Joel Macdonald knee test Michael Newton foot 3 weeks Jake Spencer knee season Luke Tapscott hamstring test This looks more accurate to me.

I think the poor guy is addicted to that thread. Try as he might he cannot kick it! I know how he feels I have a similar problem with single malt. but I am not really trying to kick that one! come on rpfc grit your teeth and don't click on you know what.
