DD do you really think that the MFC have not had contact with him or his management long before now! They would know exactly what he wants to do in 2012. If it is join the MFC then that has to wait until 3rd October at the earliest. If he does not we will have a coach announced in the next couple of weeks IMO.

We will never find out but i would love to know the average age of MFC members. I suspect it may well be the highest in the MFC. That is a real danager. We need to start having winning seasons.

I know nothing more than the average joe in the street. But my gut tells me that MM is no.1 on the MFC hit parade and has been since day 1. IMO the only reason he will not be the next MFC coach is that he may not want it. All the talk on Lyon has been media driven IMO. Time will tell if my gut is correct.

What you say makes a lot of sense but where did DB fit in this picture. He seemed to me from the outside to be driving this headlong persuit of games into kids at the expense of all else.

Guys I rang the MFC and asked them and to be honest I am not a lot wiser. Perhaps the web site person has jumped the gun and staff have not been given a full explanation. Who knows what will transpire in the fullness of time!

I think you are right. I have no idea what goes on inside the inner sanctum of the MFC. He may have upset DB so what in my opinion. The guy was not exactly leading us to glory on the field. I thought he handled the monday press conference well, rescured McLarty IMO. He looked more like the Vice president than the Vice president I cannot remember a CEO that has performed better in the last 20 years. IMO we could do worse than have him as President in the future

I agree, The guy has shown nothing but loyality to the MFC and because he has had an average season we want him to bugger off. On that basis, Davey should tear up his contract for next year and Green should announce he is leaving the MFC to play with Greenvale because he had a bad year. I am happy to give him another year no.4 draft picks do not grow on trees and he is only 21.

The only one I heard say that was Patrick Smith on SEN. However your sentiment is correct. I have watched G Lyon over the last month or so and the only regret I have is that he is not going to be permanently envolved. He has that steely stare that has been missing at the MFC for as long as I can remember.

LG I think you are kidding yourself "Low in the eight in 2012" If we rise higher than 10th I will be very surprised. I just do not see a lot of improvement next year. I am hoping we can reduce the floggings.

I have no idea but it seems to me that the longer it goes without a coach being announced the more it looks like MM The earliest The pies will be finished is 25/9. So every day that passes without an announcement it seems to me the odds on MM shorten.
