Contract ends and wants more than the Pies are offering so decides to move to another team for 2012. Only thing is no body is interested and he ends up without a team in the AFL. Now that is probably over simpifying it but you would have to say - He was poorly advised - over priced himself - Thought he had a home to go to but the deal went sour - or did he just want to go home to WA but changed his mind when it was too late I would love to know the real story

DemonWA I am not sure why we should be less harsh on our players. Here a few facts from 2011 - we had a loss ratio of 60%, 13 games lost - 7 games were lost by 8 goals or more - of those 7 games, 2 games by 9 goals, 1 by 10 goals and 1 game by 14 goals - 1 game by 31 goals By any measure we were pathetic in 2011. So why excuse them? for the majority of the year our players performed poorly. 2012 will prove if you are right but right now IMO we have an ordinary group who have not proved they can be the equal of sides 5th to 12th. I hope I am wrong but the eight is far from certain in 2012

If it is not HT we will be in deep pooh. Over the next two years there are probably a dozen players on our list that have reached the put up or shut up time. As usually next season will be very interesting

I have no idea why MFC members want to deny the findings of the Morgan research. It rings very true to me. here is my simple test. How many MFC supporters do you know that are not current MCC or MFC members? I know 1 person. However I know dozens of Collingwood, Essendon and Carlton supporters who are not members and have not been for decades. The MFC probably has a very high ratio of member to supporter ratio but we simply do not have a high number of supporters. We have had 46 years of sustained mediocre how could we possibly have a large supporter base?

To end the year on a high we must pick Clutterbuck! I see only good thinks from that name on our list. who cares if he can play we need that name.
