You may be right that our list has more potential But IMO the only judgement that is relevent is performance on the ground. So far our experienced players have not played as well as theirs and our kids have shown little to prove they are better than North's. As Dees supporters we constantly over rate our players. Results prove most of them are not that good

Billy that is wishful thinking. The results of the last 2 years show North has performed much better than the Dees. The only assumption you can make draw is their players are better than ours. To start with they win easily everytime we play them. Like it or not on average at the very least they are our equal, take off your red and blue glasses

They have won 2 and played in numerous GF since we saluted so best to keep our mouths shut

With the exception of Clark this is the team from last year Why does it look "decent" this year when it struggled last year I do not know that any of your four possible inclusions are better than even money to get a game in the first round. Magner has an injured finger that will see him at best the week before the first game Tapscott and g\Grimes will only play part of a game this weekend at Casey And I think Watts can look forward to 2-3 weeks at Casey Unless he puts in a blinder. I know it is early in 2012 and it is good to be positive So I hope you are right

That is my worry Demonator. The players are basicaly the same. They have had only 3 games to totally change the way they play. So far they have shown me little that they can excute the new plans. Now I am wrapped if that happens on Friday but I am not expecting anymore than a close win.

I struggle with 35000. We are well behind last year and I cannot see it being made up. We need to win on Saturday and win the first 4 games to make last years tally let alone 40 000 Our first half draw is a lot tougher than the second half so our win loss ratio ( when memberships have to be sold ) will be poor. That figure is a pipe dream unless we start performing on the field. I good 2012 IMO 12+ wins would give the wavering supporters hope of a good year in 2013 My prediction 32496. PS we should run a contest like last year to pick the final number.

They probably already do BD. All members of mine cannot understand why I did not toss in the Dees 20 years ago. They tell me I am in denial. denial can be a comforting place I find, much better than reality!

Interesting article on SEN this morning. During the Eddy debarcle from sunday night discussion he raised the subject of Indigenous players and lower stamina levels. He said he would be doing a segment next sunday on Indigenous players and the extra effort required in maitiance especially when they are young. It was mainly about recruiting players to AFL clubs too young. There appears to be an idea to increase the age to 19. It was supported by KB and Patrick Smith who said a number of managers have raised the issue.

Not too quickly I want to saver those 18 days none of us has 18 days to waste especially me.

psd I have not "pinged" any of the coaches. My chief complaint in case you have missed it is that the senior players are not up to the job. Very few of them in 2011 / 2012 are better than average, possible exception is Green I think he still has the potential to be good in 2012.
