TP there are a couple of things that have occured to me. - The people that picked Cook are mostly all gone from the club. the current FD had no hand in choosing him. Why would they have a commitment to a "project" play from the past FD? From the little info that I have he just does not look like a "neeld type" - Why was he only given a 2 year deal? or did he only want 2 years? The vast majority of first round picks would usually be offered 3 years deals. Why only 2 if he was a " project" player ( I hate that word ) surely the longer the better. The last first round draft pick who wanted only two years never intended to stay. Just wondering what other people ( with the exception of a couple ) think

Andrew Jarman spreading rumours about Jeremy Howe ...

Not sure that is factually correct My memory says there were others looking they just left their run to late. Also that is now past history. The kid will do what is best for him as it should be. -

Never ever said I wanted him gone. What I have said is I am getting tired of the whole saga and never seeing him on the park. I have also said we should sign him up. But I am getting tired of the wait. And as I said he needs a very big 2013 -
OH No Please how can you be so cruel. Anything but that throw me in the briar patch please.

Not even chrome could save me from that one DC. I am however glad you got a chuckle out of something to do with Dees. Not a lot of those these days -
Cloke and Collingwood - to part or not to part?
old dee replied to Satan's topic in Melbourne Demons
Carlton is an organisation that does not like or tolerate failure. The power brokers there will be livid when they do not make the finals this year. Unlike the MFC their idea of a rebuild is the time between October and March. They have no power forward. They will move heaven and earth to get him. The pies have a fight on their hands and they know it. Their only saving grace is if Cloke continues is poor form. Then the likes of Carlton might get cold feet. -

I have similar thoughts on some of the above BB. But there is no doubt in my mind that unless the case gets heard prior to the cut off dates and the decision goes the wrong way. He will get another contract. -
Well if he did it has sadly backfired so far. But the six year / $6 million contract is still young

robbie since his debut in round 12, 2009 he has played 36 games out of possible 72 anticipation rate of 50% In those 36 games he has kicked 81 goals or 2.25 per game. He seems to take a long time to get over injuries. He took 9 months to recover from a wrist injury and so far 10 weeks from an ankle injury. He is either the unluckiest player going round or the slowest healer going round. In spite of all that I would give him another contract. It is not as other we are blessed with an abundance of good forwards But I do wonder if he will ever get to display his talents much in the future I worry about his longevity -

I still believe that Carlton are a much better chance than us rpfc. If the offer is similar I would go to Carlton. Much better side will play finals in 2013 and beyond. Chance at a flag. MFC hmm a way bit less than that -
Sad but very accurate summation Oracle
