  1. He's only a kid, give him a chance to develop without the pressure this sort of speculation creates.
  2. Agree fully WJ. It's another "one percenter". We only have to find another 99 and we'll be cooking.
  3. Very diplomatic Ron. I would have said useless.
  4. Did you also notice that he hobbled half way with only one trainer helping. Finally a second arrived to assist with the rest of the distance. I hate the filth but their support structures would never allow such a situation to arise.
  5. Contact St V's. How about getting someone who can do heart transplants.
  6. Yes Biffo - obvious today. There is one bloke to blame for that effing mess.
  7. No surprise there. I posted this many times. If Jamar's toes were midfielders we'd win every clearance.
  8. Dunn was comic - i couldn't believe it. I would give Toumpas another go - you can hardly blame the kid for putting in a shocker given the example of some of his senior teamates.
  9. Stuffed if we do - stuffed if we don't. Seven changes is always unlikely to win a game. Yet, based on today's gutless effort - seven is not enough.
  10. This is also what I see. Neeld has not inspired the players. They are not playing for him. There is no positive relationship.
  11. Another week another flogging. We've been through it before. Frankly, I think we are stuffed. On the first round form so far we might be competitive with Sheedy's mob.
  12. On today's effort there is no "long term". Oblivion is much closer than that.
  13. That is a joke. I am happy to praise Viney - he deserves it - but what does it say about the other rabble (Mitch, jones and 1 or 2 others excepted)?
  14. Nice thought but if we followed through on it, I doubt we'd be able to field a team.
  15. Ron, on today's effort (or lack of effort) it is the players who need to show some heart. Supporteres have been showing it for years but the well is fast running dry.
  16. Pretty sad allright. Our skills were as bad as ever - no improvement. I reckon this is our lowest ebb. There really are no excuses - we changed half our list. We are not in a dire financial position. We have as many coaches as anybody and all the other bells and whistles of a "football department". yet we cannot fire a shot. What do we lack? Heart, character, guts?
  17. Just home. Agree with all vitriol above. There are no excuses for what I saw today. Imagine if we had come up against a top four side. 186 would be a highlight. We are just plain rubbish.
  18. Just heading off to the game. I'm confident - just put $50 on for the half time full time double.
  19. That is one of the most disgraceful, sexist and general poor taste posts I've read on this site. Wish I'd thought of it first.
  20. You’ll no doubt require intense counselling to recover from such a loss Biffo – perhaps even a weekend at Hepburn. However,I reckon it’s time to close this thread and let the Jurrah issue go - permanently. As far as I can see 99.9% of what is being written here is either pure (impure?) opinion, guesswork, speculation or simply drivel. The reality is that only Liam and those closest to him can sort out the mess he finds himself in. Nothing written here will change anything and in fact, only adds to the acrimony. Some of the Demonland “journalism” on this issue makes Kero look Pulitzer prize material. Good luck to Liam but footy (for us) starts tomorrow – thankfully. Let’s argue about that and other serious issues such as how many bananas an alpaca can consume. Christ. It seems I’m at least partially agreeing with Stuie. I’d better find a counsellor– no hang on – I already have a counsellor.
