  1. While drafting an email to McLardy et al demanding an explanation for yesterday's humiliation and what he/they propose doing about it, I was also reading the“Perspective” thread where Biffen put forward some quite singular ideas of protest. It caused me to think that many others have also, or are, thinking of how to best voice their disapproval of yesterday's fiasco. It occurred to me that it was worthy of a thread to raise the issue of a general protest from us - the faithful. I am suggesting a concerted protest to MFC. So get your pens and typewriters out and bombard the MFC with our displeasure. If each ‘lander spread the word, surely we could rack up hundreds of emails. The club needs to hear first hand that we, whose hard earned pays quite a proportion of salaries etc, are really pizzed. If that doesn’t work maybe Biffen’s proposal for round 7 response is necessary.
  2. I won't take my collar off and I've got a thong made from Alpaca hide.
  3. Before yesterday I would have pencilled in 3 wins by round 7. Port, Gold C and GWS. On our showing yesterday we could be 0/7. We simply must improve and beat the newbies and be competitive in the others or it's all over red rover.
  4. He's only a kid, give him a chance to develop without the pressure this sort of speculation creates.
  5. Agree fully WJ. It's another "one percenter". We only have to find another 99 and we'll be cooking.
  6. Very diplomatic Ron. I would have said useless.
  7. Did you also notice that he hobbled half way with only one trainer helping. Finally a second arrived to assist with the rest of the distance. I hate the filth but their support structures would never allow such a situation to arise.
  8. For [censored]! That's what!
  9. Contact St V's. How about getting someone who can do heart transplants.
  10. Yes Biffo - obvious today. There is one bloke to blame for that effing mess.
  11. No surprise there. I posted this many times. If Jamar's toes were midfielders we'd win every clearance.
  12. OK but lock up the WAGS.
  13. Dunn was comic - i couldn't believe it. I would give Toumpas another go - you can hardly blame the kid for putting in a shocker given the example of some of his senior teamates.
  14. Only winners can afford perspective!
  15. Stuffed if we do - stuffed if we don't. Seven changes is always unlikely to win a game. Yet, based on today's gutless effort - seven is not enough.
  16. This is also what I see. Neeld has not inspired the players. They are not playing for him. There is no positive relationship.
  17. Another week another flogging. We've been through it before. Frankly, I think we are stuffed. On the first round form so far we might be competitive with Sheedy's mob.
  18. On today's effort there is no "long term". Oblivion is much closer than that.
  19. That is a joke. I am happy to praise Viney - he deserves it - but what does it say about the other rabble (Mitch, jones and 1 or 2 others excepted)?
  20. Nice thought but if we followed through on it, I doubt we'd be able to field a team.
  21. Ron, on today's effort (or lack of effort) it is the players who need to show some heart. Supporteres have been showing it for years but the well is fast running dry.
  22. Pretty sad allright. Our skills were as bad as ever - no improvement. I reckon this is our lowest ebb. There really are no excuses - we changed half our list. We are not in a dire financial position. We have as many coaches as anybody and all the other bells and whistles of a "football department". yet we cannot fire a shot. What do we lack? Heart, character, guts?
