Given some of the concerns on this thread I'm not sure anyone here has been following Spencer's development. He has been carefully developed over the past several years. He has grown physically, in confidence, in aggro and in skills. During his last stint in the seniors he played some good footy until injured. Ross acknowledged this at the time, so he has clearly been viewed as the replacement ruck. Let's just see what he has to offer.
