Jizza makes some sense here. Jack Dyer also pushed this "old fashioned" message. . All footy theories go to pieces unless you have ball. Almost every time the ball hit the ground after half time they grabbed it They got the ball - we didn't -They sh it on us. I stood there and watched the sh it.

POST MATCH DISCUSSION - ROUND 2, 2015
Bitter but optimistic replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Hogan was fantastic in the debacle. Hard to believe it was only his second game. Not only assured and strong but seems to be able to run all day. This kid could kick 150 ( not this year - I have some grip on reality) if we delivered the ball frequently and well into the 50!! -
That might be a problem for you and Jizza, Fl og but I do OK. (So does dc but that's thanks to Biffen and his drugs)
-
Thanks for the concern all. As if I give a FF!! As I stated on another thread, I mouthed off wonderfully during the the first half but copped it back thereafter! I was even called an ignorant fat [censored] .. unfortunately I had little defence via either via the scoreboard or my regalia. Found a delightful Nepalese Restaurant in Manuka and purchased dinner for the freeloaders and the squeeze. We then moved on to a private "club" recommended by Biffen. I would have usually quite enjoyed the clientele but with the disappointment of the game just couldn't get into the mood. Handed out a couple of basic whippings (the yokels were impressed) and returned to the bar. Quiet drive back. Didn't realise I'd forgotten the freeloaders until the squeeze woke up at Gundagai. [censored] em - they can fly back. .

DEMONLAND PLAYER OF THE YEAR - ROUND 2, 2015
Bitter but optimistic replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I watched the entire game at the ground (painful as that was). Yes Jamar deserves votes and will get some when I do mine. I don't know the stats but he won hit outs against Mummy and caused a neutral outcome in many others. He also imposed himself physically, took a couple of grabs and kicked a great goal. It didn't seem to matter who won the hit out they simply killed us once the ball hit the ground. -

What a wonderful thing - there is agreement, comradeship and even love on Dland tonight. I imagine a balmy day, a green field and Dlanders in flowing feathery robes wearing garlands of spring flowers. C and B and Wiseblood dancing around a maypole, embracing. Saty sitting with his friends (well alone). Stuie on the sidelines trying, but not quite being loved. Ahh the beauty of it .............
-
Agreed. Simple observation. This is a stronger/better team than last week.
-
It's a strong side.

JKH stiff but those two were always going to come in.

Seems an unassuming and down to earth young man. Good luck to him!

So you open a thread to tell the Mods to close another thread? I'll have to workshop that for a while. In the meantime give it a rest Frank - or at least change hands. -
They must come from Mediterrean regions them. Likely the Mafia is behind it all.
