SWYL ‘ s “excessive “ is even more so od !
-
Just arrived at the sports bar to meet SWYL and watch the dees win by 47! Sir WYL maybe a tad late - his behaviours last night were …… excessive.
-
I came to Thailand for spiritual enlightenment and I must say my stay in Bangkok has been wonderfully ..... err .... uplifting. I have consulted my guru ( not Bob ) and I have been assured that the Demons will win today's encounter with the Dorks by 46 points.
-
I was there that day. FMD what a shocker!
-
Not sure about this Dub. We want him prime for the finals , so if declared fit, I reckon we’ll play him in the real stuff
-
I actually never get past the first winery.

Haven't heard from @picket fence of late. Is there any truth to the rumour that he's been in a state of euphoric intoxication since Clarrie's return was announced ?
-
See my post above loges - I believe a comeback is in the wind.
-
He was declared persona non grata , however, I believe a miracoulous and phoenix like resurrection maybe underway!
-
That seems to be a dangerous undertaking Deelightful ! As you well know cheer squads are notorious for the nut jobs among them.
-
I shall be watching today's game at Fitzgerald's Sports Bar in Nana in the company of defrocked and disgraced Demonlander SWYL. We shall get outrageously drunk while celebrating both Clarrie's return and giving the blue baggers ( who, according to some local supporters, are apparently 2023 premiers) a dose of reality. PS. A cultural observation. A lot of the sheilas around here have very husky voices - something in the spicy food, I suppose.

I read this this morning What an unfunny [censored] waste of time and paper Journalism ! FMD ! -
You'd reckon Grundy will be going flat out to prove his value to the team.

The filth would hate this because they'd actually have to travel to Cat Park - in fact everybody would because all Geelong games would, henceforth, be played at Geelong. -
There's not enough nastiness, abuse and back stabbing on this thread!

Three "normal" games from Petracca will do the trick

I’ve just waded through 5 pages of the paper bagger’s posts. Surprisingly nothing obnoxious as yet. Mostly about selection. Cerra seems a focal point with opinion divided on his availability Is your Cerra in based on the info from DQ, or you have other little birdies? Cerra in would be massive for our team. Cerra won't play against Melbourne possibly week after. There is some concern over the Petracca matchup Can Noodles contain the beast that is Lasagna Petracca? He is bigger, stronger and faster than any of the players Newman has matched up against in recent weeks and he is undoubtedly the key to a Melbourne victory. could Kemp take the Tractor? Think Cinc is the way, he’s strong AF & can damage on rebound if Petracca doesn’t pay him attention. And on our selections With their injuries think Grundy might be a chance to return. Oliver hasn’t played in months so how match fit will he be? They’re hitting form at the right end of the season as well. Wish we had some options to lighten the load on Cripps, Doc and Charlie somewhat but we need them to give it all for one more game at least. Game will be one and lost in the guts, like just about every other game these day's. Oliver will apparently be back for them. Had a look on the dees thread, some are saying Schache will come in for the injured Petty. Tomlinson and Hibberd are being talked up as possibleinclusions. Melbourne just lost petty. No Fritsch. Grundy and brown the only two left to play key forward. I don’t think we need to play weiters marchbank and kemp. I’d drop marchbank for Boyd. In General Knock this mob off and we’d have beaten 3 of the top 4 sides……just saying. IMO, Melbourne are the team to beat this year. They are quietly doing what they need to do. If we are to beat them, we will need some players back. A good start would be SoS to assist Charlie and Walsh to go into the middle. This will be an interesting match for us. This game looks to me now like a fifty-fifty affair. Coming down to the gee for this. Bring on Saturday night, I cannot wait. PS - it is still mathematically possible for us to finish 4th. Double chance. Pies first up! PS . While I have opened this thread, I will not be continuing with it as I am heading to Thailand ( for spiritual enlightenment ) tomorrow. A volunteer or volunteers are therefore required. PPS. Perhaps @binman , my advisor on thread protocol could take over ?

POSTGAME: Rd 21 vs North Melbourne

A very shabby start - hope we've got that out of our system !! Then the big guns said enough is enough and opened fire - Max, Viney , Petracca and Brayshaw. ...... but what about Kozzie ? Fair dinkum, a few moments of Kozzie magic cures much of the pain we MFC supporters have endured over the years. I reckon it's happening this year !!!!!!
