    Craig & Simpson would be great. Rate Craig highly and so do the players. Smart operator who has the passion & skills. Think he is coaching well, just need some more polish on field to help out.

    Lots of talk about Adam Simpson coming to Dees to be senior assistant and groomed for top job similar to the Sheedy / Cameron set up at GWS.

    Would be a good get, plenty of upside, smart footballer. Think it will be hard to prize him out of the cats though.

    It's a tricky one, his best position is probably up forward but there will be no spot for him next year if all key forwards are fit, same with Fitzy he would be getting offers and waying up his future, how will he fit into the forward line next yr? & who will play the second ruck spot resting up forward??     Gillies is the worst player I have ever seen pull on a Melbourne jumper, bar none!!!

    Is a chance for the board, either him or Paul Hopgood, both are doing a lot behind the scenes.

    Not a chance in the world Knights will get a senior coaching gig in the Afl, assistant at best for him.

    Neil Craig is a better option than Eade, thought he coached really well Saturday night against Gold Coast just didn't have the cattle to finish the job for him.

    I think you will find that the members will be updated on Sunday on the progress that the club is making. Pj will do media rounds, with President to talk at Presidents lunch and board members talking to social club members at half time. Generally the way is works on home games.

    Was talking to one of the current dees players last night, a few points I thought I would share: Thinks Gawn will be a gun, Spencer will be ok to. Hogan better than Clark & Dawes already, beats Frawley at training. Frawley absolute gun, just about best fb in comp Jamar finished Pederson 3 yr deal @ $330k per yr, no one likes him & was same at Nth Rates Terlich & Clisby highly Unsure Blease will make it N.Jones by far the hardest trainer at club Loves Neil Craig Watts is a great bloke, laconic at training though. I asked him who will coach next yr, without hesitation said Roos Shattered about the loss to GWS Thinks if we get some more good mids in can be ok next yr. Thought I would share. Enjoy.

    Would like to here an update from club as to where we are at with new coach , president & footy manager. Has been very quiet on all fronts recently. Surely there has been some progression they can share with the members.

    No new news on potential future MFC coaches.... Things seem to be staying inhouse a bit more with Jackson at the helm.

    Jackson hasn't spoke to him for 3 weeks, wonder if someonelse from Mfc or Afl has? If they haven't surely we have touched base with other candidates???

    Clark may Ruck next yr, swapping with Fitzy or Gawn up forward. Would be a good combo and leave: Watts, Hogan, Dawes, Howe up forward with one of Clark, Fitzy or Gawn. Maybe the best option? To many talks where do they all fit??? Spencer & Jamar also.....
