Went to watch Casey Vs Box Hill a few weeks back no Melb players there but from Hawthorn there was: Buddy, Hodge, Mitchell, Bruce, Gibson, Burgoyne, Osborne and more... To the dees defence maybe they were doing recovery???.

Totally agree, there has been no team improvement, individuals like Martin & Watts have improved but overall i feel the team has gone backwards. Where is the intensity that we showed last yr against Collingwood & Bulldogs??? Even late last season against Hawthorn we put up a much better showing than yesterday. dissapointing...

Agree - needs to work harder defencivly, good around goals though. I think Bennell has the potential to be a really good player, good when he gets the ball, just needs to get more of it.

i think Newton will come in to replace Johnson and play the second ruck / deep forward role, hence Johnson playing for Casey seinors and Fitzpatrick gets pushed down to the reserves.

Meesen spoke to the Redleg supporter group which i am a member of at half time last Friday night, has re injured his ankle and does not seem good.

J.Mac or CJ For me CJ, better skills and gets more of the footy. Not convinced on J.Mac would not get a game at a top club, skills are not great and shouldn't be in contention for a game with Melb when or if we ever are challenging for the top four. Yes we got him for nothing but i would of rathered someone else.
