Jesse Hogan re-signs to end of Season 2019

He'll probably want to stick around then as we are going for the three-peat. -

The Jesse Hogan Panic Room - all contract talk here

Nowhere near as long as the Bulldogs supporters (they even had 55 yrs between GF appearances). Our time is coming and it will be the likes of Hogan that will get us there. -
The doggies have been waiting much longer than us for this...I'm really happy for them regardless of how much of a ride the umpires gave them.

I'm just listening on AFL live radio (on the AFL live app)...couldn't get a video stream working (7Plus).

And if they said it about the trade rumors, would you be equally upbeat about his chances of staying? -
One of my favorites at the MFC back in the day...and he remained an MFC lad at heart. I took this shot at the Shanghai demo game against Brisbane Lions a few years back...

You will correcting, or you will be correcting?

The club sent Pedersen for surgery not so long ago, so I get the feeling they are invested in him as a good depth player.

I'm reviving this thread as Lin Jong is almost single handedly destroying Casey at the moment in the VFL GF. He is far more than just a VFL standard player. To come back from a broken collarbone inside two weeks of the injury occurring and to play the game he is playing, setting up most of the Dogs' attack ( and will likely play in next week's GF) is a seriously good effort in anyone's book...the Dees should be taking a serious look at him.

Jules, if you have the TunedIn Radio app on your mobile/tablet, you can listen on Casey Radio -

I'm OS and listening on TuneIn Radio...the 7Plus app keeps telling me there's a problem with the connection (I'm in Spain) -
I thought Matt was from South Australia.

It's really difficultt to gauge just how good these players really are...so many of the shots of them taking marks, winning ruck contests, extracting the ball etc, are so obviously set up as opposed to being real action. But of the three finalists, I would think Matt is the most useful...however Daniel does look to have a decent skill set.

Fair enough, I obviously missed those posts...but were they fact or fiction? You would have to think that if there was any real substance to them, that the press would have been making mention of this when discussing Hogan's future. -

This seems to be news that no-one here has any knowledge of, so how do you think people would be taking that into account? I have done some googling and the only reference I could find in relation to Jesse's father being ill, was from May this year and just happened to be from the poster Third Man Up on page 105 of the "The Incredible Hulk - Jesse Hogan" thread here on Demonland. Perhaps you might care to point us to where we could verify that bit of info... it would certainly go a long way towards assuaging the fears of numerous posters in this thread. -

Ok, I relented and tracked down my post: Nonsense... as has already been mentioned in this "discussion", the news that Hogan would like to remain a Demon is NOT new information at all... it was in the press on July 21 and the only difference is that GNF is claiming that he got the info from the inner sanctum:http://www.watoday.com.au/wa-news/melbournes-jesse-hogan-shuts-down-dockers-advances-20160720-gqaa8f.html -

The six month timeframe actually first appeared in a newspaper article (I referenced it in an earlier post in this discussion, but can't be arsed looking for it now). -
That was absolutely heart breaking.

I'm not sure that to have validity my comment is dependent upon Roos being at the club next year (particularly given the context; that is, the comment to which I was responding). -

It certainly helped Neitz back in the day... wouldn't hurt to try it (although he does seem to take on a bit of a roving commission anyway). -

But I'm not talking about panic stations as far as the MFC is concerned... Roos knows as well as anyone that Hogan's currency will not be diminished in the least by his recent form slump.
