I just finished watching the game again. Cale wasn't bad actually, he did alot more right then wrong. His only real stuff up was that one kick that resulted in a collingwood goal. (yes, a very big stuff up) However when he came back on he made a goal saving sprint to put pressure on Jamie Elliot. He has really improved his intensity from years beofre and I think we should continue to show faith in him, he is working his ass off and I think that if he grows in confidence he could be a solid contributer. Now don't [censored] up Cale now that I have put my faith in you !!

I challenge that bolded statement, Howe would be ahead of Magner in my opinion. Magner has still been very very good this year, don't get me wrong, I think he would probly be coming 5th or sixth at the moment though.

OUT - Morton, Green, Tapscott (only because of suspension) IN - Petterd, Bartram, Bail Pettered can play the defensive forward on Cornes, or give that to Dunn and make Petterd the sub. Bartram to crush skulls in defence. And Bail to do what Morton does but with more pace and less turnovers and stonger tackles and all round better football.

Would love to see Petterd in against GWS. Give him the defensive forward role on Cornes and put Magner in the middle of the effing ground !!

It takes him an eternity to activate his brain and that makes it hard for him to have an impact. He isn't even a great ruckman, his taps are not even to our players advantage.

But we have plenty of capable forwards. Petterd last year was the king of forward pressure on his day, bring the man in and give him a decent run of games so he can return to some of his awsome form that has had in previous years. It just baffles the mind.

Amen to that !!! He was one of if not our best player for the first couple of games when he was playing in the middle.

What is the deal with Magner being played as a defensive forward all the time. He is a born hard ball getter, can get clearances and is a great tackler. I don't understand why he needs to learn how to stop a rebounding defender, he is a midfielder that can win the ball, which is what we need at the moment. Why does he need to learn to do this, will it really make him a better player ? He is better off in the middle of the ground getting the hard ball and getting clearances and helping Nate Jones out. Let the man do what he is [censored] good at !!!

A very reliable player, never goes to ground and competes 100%. Can break tackles and has great speed, why hasn't he been playing from the get go.

Yeah, maybe Jamar and a second round pick, that would get it done especially if Boak wanted out.

If Boak wants out then it would be a win win for both clubs, we need hard gun midfielders ASAP and Boak is that.

Offer Port Sylvia and a first round pick for Boak, I reckon that could potentially get the job done.

Well every poster on this site has probly been saying that for the past 6 years, I do not agree, the players are just are not playing on instinct. They are playing AFL because they are amongst the best in the world at the game, I think we should allow them to play to their instincts, but still hold them to a higher level of responsibility and work ethic at training obviously. A game plan should be a guide for the players, but they should just be left to play and make decisions based on gut instinct, not game plan.

Why can't we just be good now ?
