If I was playing for Collingwood, Essendon, Hawthorn or Carlton then I would come to the Dees without a second thought, any other team, it would be hard.

That could be said about anyone player our list right now, It does not bother me that Bruce left, but thats silly.

I was just thinking, who does everyone think would make MFC best Sub in 2011. I think Bennell because he tends to drift out of games sometimes, and I think if he was Subbed on maybe at the start of the last quater, he would be able to use his pace and skill to burn off his opponent and dominate for the last bit of the game. Thoughts?

I really hope Im wrong about Morton and he turns out to be just as good as Goddard.

I know he ran to get the ball, and I think he got it in the end, but, In my defence, for a split second, he looked like he was actually packing his dacks, and he kinda shuffled away from Lade(?) and now whenever I think of Morton, that just comes into my mind. I just can't stop thinking about it. I also do not see what everyone else sees in him. Just because he has a big engine means he can become the next Adam Goodes? Thats why I think he is overrated, I probly did not need to say that he "ran" away from Lade, but, I find it funny. This is what I should have said regarding Morton: He does have a great engine, however I have not seen any physicality in his game that says to me he will be a star of the game. I have read that he will be the next Brendan Goddard and Adam Goodes, who are both Superstars of the game, and even though I was to young to watch Goddard and Goodes in there early years, Morton is not explosive enough to be like Goddard or Goodes in my opinion. I would ABSOLUTLY LOVE to be wrong, but, I just do not see it. Also, I did not even see the clip of Morton "running" from Lade on the footy show, I was watching the game on tele, and I made my own judgment, then, when looking at some youtube videos of the Dees, the video of him "RUNNING" came up, so I watched it, and I had a bit of a chuckle, and relized that he was not completly "running" , but, I still think he "ran" away from Lade for a split second.

Overrated: Morton- Never gets any hard ball, does not use the ball well, ran away from that port guy. Underrated: Jurrah- I know we all think he is absolutly amazing, but I still think we underate him

Hi all, Im currently in a friendly argument with a friend, and he thinks that a team in the history of the AFL/VFL has finished outside of the finals one year, then, in the next year they win the flag. Can anyone comfirm, or deney these claims? Help woud be greatly appreciated.

I dont get why pepole on here think we need more tall defenders. I mean, we have Frawley, Garland, Rivers, Joel Mac (can play tall), Warnock, and from what I hear Martin. That is 6, surley that is enough, I could be wrong, but I think we need a big forward more then a big back.
