  1. You could just link to or quote the relevant post, as opposed to reviving a thread from almost a year ago to take a jab at someone.
  2. No doubt we can get to 31K. That's a shame - was this via a phone call? Either way it should have been explained - not only for the benefit of you and the fiancee, but for the benefit of the Club. It's far better to sign up people on the higher value membership products if we can.
  3. If we only lose Petterd I'll be okay. Anyone else think Sylvia'd suit the Gold Coast? >_>
  4. I'll be there. I won't be happy about it being at the dome though.
  5. Considering it is Melbourne who has to move a game from their home ground, what about Dees fans who'll end up with worse seats and/or pay more for seating (which will be pretty much everyone)?

    McNamara

I won't be surprised if McNamara plays this week. Considering his age it'd be a surprise if we delisted him this year.
  7. I think Jones may have been the other.

    Dunn

That could have been the case in the scenario you're replying to. I can understand why people may not agree but it's not that crazy. Like you say, Robbo's getting on and might struggle to play another final with the Dees. I'm not convinced by Dunn though.
  9. Wona and Watts for the second half of the season will be nice.
  10. Sure, but I do think it's easy to be patient when you're in Melbourne's situation - there's nothing to lose.
  11. I don't think the rule should be abolished but I do think that the umpires are paying free kicks to guys that drop to the ground etc and haven't actually been pushed in the back. Again, I don't think the rule should be abolished/changed. Umpires simply need to hold off on paying free kicks when players bend at the knees or duck their head etc. I think this is fine.

    Cale Morton

I agree. I didn't see the WCE match but it's the major downside in his game IMHO.
  13. On the radio I heard that Cox had a very poor game. However, it'd hardly be unusual for interstate commentators to be focussed on the home side. How much of it was Cox having a poor one and how much was it PJ stepping up?
  14. Haha Unfortunately I don't think he does actually use it that well. Occassionally he looks elite but far too often he makes poor decisions or misses targets. When it comes to contested situations I think his handballing is pretty poor.
  15. With only a few minutes to go I heard that he - and Davey - were on the bench.
  16. We should put him in a bubble and only let him out for blockbuster games.
  17. Can't wait to see what he says about the Saints membership figures then.
  18. So, we need to be unlike all other Clubs, who get better crowds if it's a good fixture and their team's doing well? Hrm.
  19. lol. PS. Interesting that it's the President (aka Chairman) of Melbourne and the CEO of the Roos.
  20. If we only lose Petterd I'll be okay - other teams will lose more.
  21. I've seen you say something along these lines a few times... No one is obligated to address any point you make, let alone each and every post. If people aren't interested in what you're saying, or perhaps just don't want to engage with you, they won't. How do you know when Hannabal started watching football? Maybe you could give the same respect to other posters, instead of questioning the footy knowledge of anyone who disagrees with you (which, you suggest, is everyone else).
  22. Yes. I don't know. The Premium MCC/MFC m/ship is close to the Red&Blue Adult 11 ($170) and plenty of Clubs have 'value' memberships.
