  2. Only 2 more sleeps, man i need a footy fix can't wait but i hope that ALL the fit players are playing even if its only for 10 min be good to see them in a game simulation.... for all those that are unaware i was reading about the day and it says its a MFC intra club match with several VFL casey players taking part and then the CASEY SCORPIANS family day i asume MFC are involved in this family day to some extent though. Well thats the way it read anyway as our MFC family day is in march (14th i think)
  3. Kegs I could not agree more i think he was a steal @18 and will be as important as Scully and Trengove. FWIW i Voted Trengove i followed him pretty closely last yr like many others and too here the way the SA Football experts and royalty were talking well lets just say got me excited.....
  4. Count me in! I got on the website the other day and registered my interest havn't heard back but if someone from here can email me the person/peoples details for who to contact and a bit more info would be fantastic. [email protected]
  5. Coming From Gippsland and never been there were abouts do i go?? Address / Directions Cheers Daz
  6. Western Bulldogs - This is the year of the dogs, Have a well balanced team and should go all the way GF (Winners) St Kilda - Great year last year, but that was there chance IMO, teams will follow there agressive attack will make prelim but fall short Geelong - What can i say great side will always be remembered but no GF this year Hawthorn - On the up fit and firing will just miss the GF. Adelaide - Suprise team this year i predict they will finish strong and make the GF Collingwood - On the way down cant't compete with teams above but still stronger than most bellow Brisbane - Could do anything this year might take a bit for the team to gel so keeping safe @ 7 West Coast - Very strong young list they finished last year with confidence and may sneek into the 8 (although this spot is up for grabs) Sydney - I never understermate this team Roo's is a master and gets the best out of his players will push for the 8 Essendon - Young and still developing, this year is about getting the right mix on the park and too see who can hold there positions, will be a power side in a few yrs Carlton - Don't really know were to fit the blue baggers in gun midfield but may be a little undermaned forward and back Melbourne - I expect the Dee's to win around 8 games but with the highest loosing margin around 6 goals, they will match with the best at times and see glimpses of a very exciting future North Melbourne - Developing side with some pretty good talent won't set the world on fire Port Adelaide - They are rebuilding and need too but a while off yet Fremantle - How can anyone honestly predict fremantle to come anywere must be a pretty frustrating side to follow Richmond - 3 years behind anyone else, got some talent though.
  7. i will also be attending this day too!!!! Just thought i should post something in regards too the thread topic
  8. From what i have read there will be kids activities inc: Jumping castles, give aways and prizes. Should be a good day 10:00am start which is when the players will probably come out and warm up before there intra club hit out than i imagine they will shower and come out to mingle with the fans... should be a great day (hopefully the weather holds out, would be dissapointed if they pulled a carlton on us!)
  9. Thanks for the Links, i wanted to attend but living a couple of hours away its not always easy. Gee we are on the right track pretty hard fault anyone or anything.
  10. Great Idea really need to get the younger brigade involved there are alot of older MFC supporters but not so many younger ones.... i am 30 and only know about half a dozen in this bracket be good to meet more and encourage others. COUNT ME IN!!!!!
  11. Yeah I will be there with my wife (carlton), 2 Daughters (1 melbourne and 1 Bulldogs) and 1 month old son (MELBOURNE I GIVE HIM NOOOO CHOICE)
  12. The other Demonland leaugue was full so i started another league called demonland 2 code: 307642 feel free to join for a bit of fun Cheers Daz
  13. Just look at the aussie cricket side mitch johnson and hauritz (if thats how you spell it) they were struggling badly with a "virus"
  14. He is a very good VFL player, will play week in week out and have a long career were he belongs the second best league in the land.....
  15. Why Karma?? Becuase he plays for the pies? Hope they get the [censored] weak thug who did it. Too man Hero's out there
  16. Just go's too show how highly rated Trengove is by most in the industry port and melb would have both had a fare idea of what picks 8 and 9 would bring yet the dees chose Trengove and Port desperatly wanted Trengove.... i have a feeling from what i have seen this bloke could be dare i say it one of the best draftee's EVER. Like most i have read every article, watched and listened too everyones opinions (especially the SA media) and he is just so exciting in everyway. .I got massive shivers over my body when i watched him being called out draft night
  17. awesome pics makes my balls tingle!! good too see the brothers having a laugh and how strong does tapscot look??
  18. i like the current logo but am more than happy for a change as long as the disigner isn't the same one that surely got the sack after the new crows [censored] poor excuse
  19. I would prefer Majik Daw over both these blokes this bloke has some serious raw talent..... but i agree on 2 fronts 1 - i would love to get rid of newton he is a complete waste of space on our list 2 - i agree that we should not be known that we brake player contracts its not right!!
  20. Geelong and Essendon in my opinion recruited "best available" with there picks and looked too have got lucky too time will tell...... never a big wrap for Fitzpatrick saw him play a bit over the TAC cup carnival didn't stand out too me but the FD watch 99% more junior footy than me. Gysberts don't know anything about and Gawns anyones guess but Scully, Trengove and Tapscot should be huge winners for us..
  21. Yeah i agree i meant too say if we don't win one with this group I won't be holding out hope for my lifetime.... it seems they have built this team to be around for a long time much in the mould of Geelong. There are 3 factors. 1) we retain the core group, 2) injuries don't play a major role, 3) most players reach there potential.
  22. Awesome wish i had have been there i am more excited than ever can't wait for next year might have to start driving down (2hrs) to watch them train if we can't win a flag in the next 6 years don't think we ever if all these players reach some potential we should have NO weakness (fingers crossed on the injury front) Forward Line - Bit of everything Midfield - Nothing need to be said should be well and truly covered spots might get tough Rucks - Some hope there Backline - Alrready thought we had the best developing backline in the league before last nite
