So you know him personally and obviously spoken footy with him and i assume that he knows your a melbourne supporter... which leads to my question has he ever indicated that MFC could be a club he would consider to play for obviously he would never have directly said this but has he spoken of them??

I only want him if he really wants to play for the MFC no point trying to convince him we don't need that type of player round the young blokes at the club he has good leaderships skills and would be great to have but his heart must be in it or don't bother

Not very exciting Peter Rhode from Port has come out today and said he won't confirm or deny any discusions that took place with MFC but assured everone there will not be a descision today.... thats it

No they are not knocking back pick 9 they are happy with this but they require a qlty player also and hawthorn arn't prepared (at this stage) to give them the type of player they are after

Not quite sure how they expect to do this maybe Bell, Newton or co for our 4th round and upgrade to a third round or something to that effect as i think we need to free up 2 more spots on our list

I agree about an unfair deal we don't need him but would be a good get for a bargain price don't wanna give much away

yeah PSD for me i have a feeling this is the player that has been talked about melbourne trying to lure.... I would'nt be so keen on trading too much for him maybe Jamar, Bell and our late ND pick would be good for us and port have no legs to stand on if they want to deal with us he is not a need but would be a good get

Agree if we off load Jamar for a first round draft pick no reason we can't go hard to get jolly we will have alot of options

Personally i think Valenti is a very good vfl player and thats it not an afl player by any stretch, i think Buckley is very underated and has alot of upside he breaks the lines and has the ability to turn the game Bell and Dunn i agree but really what oppurtunities will they get elsewere can't get a game with a club struggling on the bottom for the last few years mabe careers over?? As for Jamar last year he would have been worth round 3 draft pick at best... has shown a bit this year but first round draft pick is a steal and if we could package with someone like bell bring it on free's up another spot on our list. Again this is only my opinion agreed or not..

Buckley is very underated by alot of people he is one of few that actually takes the game on and he deffinetly has an afl career.... can pj play a key position centre half forward maybe?? he did win the liston trophy a few years ago playing a similar role with the zebra's and only played 2/3 of the year in the vfl

I have a problem............. who the hell is going to be my fav player is it possible that the MFC could be the most exciting team in the modern era will the young kids of today finally start telling there mum and dad collingwood, carlton, essendon supporters they want a red and blue jumper...... I agree i trust our FD to do whats best they will not take a player just for the sake of it if they deem him worthy so be it i would have thought pick 34 at best and just remember every year rumour after rumour not many eventuate good fun and interesting talk though expecially from a melb point of view we hav'nt had that much joy of recent time anyway GO DEE's cant wait to see what happins

No sorry i think 1 and 2 are off limits we are still a few years away from a GF so lets build a young side instead of bringing in other players from other clubs we are in the same situation as Geelong 6 or so years ago except they didn't bottom out as such but had some pretty handy father and son picks thats just my opinion..

No don't think he is what the MFC need deffinetly a key forward and qlty ruckman if available... i like garland down back he takes the game on and its great when u find a position that suits certain players as they can grow onto it and know there job week in week out..
