  1. they have been going at least 50 minutes for the first case... Trenners is next
  2. I can't believe I am actually following a live text-based coverage of the tribunal no I'm not obsessed with football at all
  3. pressure/intensity = tackling, the ability to walk through them and the ability not to be walked through. The importance of this could never be showcased better than by watching the MFC over the last 2 weeks. The other extremely important thing that we did far less of this week was general disposal errors/turnovers. We were clean with the ball and kept it way from them and the rest took care of itself.
  4. it means he read it and made position better than the others
  5. if you were too soft to put on your scarf and beanie and get down there, you got what you deserved: which was to miss one of the best wins I can remember next time harden up
  6. one of the main reasons people come here is to get an inside word on something, shouldn't be discouraged
  7. I hope that at the club understand the supporter base demands an appeal here, he is a clean, talented kid who plays hard, he is not a thug
  8. yeah I just think no matter who you are or what state the game is in, if a teammate is in a position for a gimmee goal whereas you are in a bit of a trcky spot, you pass. I doubt that he would have done it if the game was anywhere near close though. Very happy with him the last few weeks, as others have mentioned he has a number of tricks that his colleagues like Jack Riewoldt and Hurley just don't have, such as the speed and agility and skill when the ball is on the deck. You can just tell why he was such a safe/obvious pick at 1 because it's hard to imagine a KPD that will be able to line up on him if he gets anywhere near his potential. Long way to go, but here's hoping he does a Frawley and just suddenly turns into the real deal in the lot too distant future
  9. the kid's obviously injury prone which is why he slipped to us in the draft isn't it? no scully, no trengove, no jordie and no grimes no week. great.
  10. He's definitely improving, not sure about talking him up for that snap though.. it was a greedy effort as he had men on everywhere having said that we were up by 75 or something, so I guss he was entitled, he gave a little grin after it
  11. Bate's had his chance, well and truly, and he's not up to it
  12. you must be joking, the opposite is true someone actually called him soft the other day which is an absolute disgrace of a call
  13. C-Graders aren't they Rhino, particularly Moloney who is in contention for the C-Grade brownlow have you done your votes yet
  14. a miserable wet day, on Mother's day, coming off a shocking performance in WA it was never going to be any different
  15. A lot of the credit for that goal goes to Jack Watts, who put a perfect, prolonged shepherd on the goal line, it would certainly have been touched otherwise as it went through at hip height
  16. would that be the St.Kilda who got done, last week, by the side we just flogged by 96?
  17. if you didn't want to get laughed at you should have saved this post for next week. You seem so certain we are going to come out and play heartless unmotivated footy next week, you could have at least waited for the justification to actually happen first
  18. Today proves to me that some supporters have had to endure way too much failure and as a result cannot ever be happy with what's going on We won by 96, kicking 16 goals in a half. If we hadn't been wasteful in the first half it would have been 130 or more, and we did it without Scully, McKenzie, Rivers and Grimes. It was an incredible response lead by the senior group that shows the players are backing Bailey. Right now we are 7th with 2 highly winnable matches ahead. Enjoy it for a day, please
  19. I was gobsmacked, didn't think he had muh influence at all, maybe I have blinkers on
  20. How the hell did we get Tappy at 18? What a star
  21. 6 - Brent 'C Grade' Moloney. What do you have to say now after one of the greatest clearance games....ever 5 - Sylvia. Was drafted at #3. That's why. 4 - Nathan 'C Grade' Jones - just stands up in a tackle now, his whole career it's been 'FFS JOnes stop trying to do too much' well it is paying off now 3 - Slick Rick - must be inside 50 every week from now on 2 - Trengovernment - that gather/spin/handball while getting tackled, setup a goal, right at the end.. showcased the class the kid has 1 - Davey. Faded a bit but gee he was impressive at times special mentions pretty much everyone, reckon watts is starting to get there
  22. I also agree, I am very surprised at how much hatred he has earnt around here, he made some terrible errors last week but he also did some fantastic things that showcased what a unique type of player he is and how ggood he could become we've seen him rack up disposals, take contested marks, kick goals and shut down good players, how obvious does it need to be that this kid has huge potential if everyone wasn't having a cry about the fact we are in a bit of a form slump the vitriol wouldn't exist, but there has to be scapegoats, huh? I'm backing him
