  1. Loved Dunny, even amid the novelty free kicks he would give out trying to be the hard man. Always gave his all in a basketcase of a team. Good to see him enjoy the good times with the rest of us.
  2. Isn't it nice to have a call where the commentary team aren't openly barracking against us?
  3. I'm sure this has already been covered in other threads, but how good was that piece of play from May? Works Motlop out of the contest then lays the shepherd for Hunt to bang it long. Glorious stuff. And then Pickett's spray to Newnes, just great stuff all around.
  4. Agree, WCW. While he was the one on the field, his involvement in the circus that followed is literally zero. Hate Carlton, hate the AFL, hate the system that allows this rubbish, but the player who is literally viewed as a commodity by this system.........doesn't sit right with me.
  5. And then there's this: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=424906084846848
  6. He has a real Mac DeMarco vibe to him
  7. Also capitalism
  8. Agree that his injuries could have been managed a hell of a lot better, but there was really no other option with regards to leadership. He addressed the group after his first game, was always going to be taking some sort of role there. I think it's to his credit that he's responded so well to the cutting back of his leadership role (and probably speaks volumes to how much better our off-field management is).
  9. I've got the Air Jurrah shirt I think, left it at my parents' place 5 years ago. I've also got Jack Fitzpatrick's (unworn) Irish themed jersey, which I still wear to games to this day.
  10. Fairly sure Fitzroy would be propping us up...
  11. Applies more to Demonland, but: "I was bored as [censored], sitting around and thinking all this morbid stuff" - Morbid Stuff, PUP
  12. Maginness will knock us back as well, so pick #32.
  13. What, dream we get done for draft tampering?
  14. Only this year? Nick "426" Smith would argue otherwise.
  15. Agreed 100%. I've found in the past, I've always been keen on the flashy mid/fwd player early, (Bontempelli, Stringer, etc.) but my favourite player is the hardworking back pocket/inside mid (Jetta, Viney, Oliver). In Taylor we trust. That's why he gets paid via those huge novelty checks.
  16. Shame we can't package up pick #97 and [insert scapegoat player here] for a 2nd-rounder.
  17. What the goddamn hell?
  18. But will he crack in and have a crack?
  19. Please don't.
  20. @Supermercado would be over the moon. I wouldn't hate it either.
  21. Despite many posters, including me, being into him pre the 2013 draft - no way, never, not on your Nellie. Not only delisted by Collingwood, but delisted by the Saints. A powerhouse at VFL level, but nothing beyond that.
  22. Go on then..... We'd all be on the "Draft Andy" train!
