This is what really irks me about it. It's not the 'fairest and best', it's the rising star. Suspension should have nothing to do with it.

Maybe some of the AFL executive. Might finally warrant the big bucks they're being paid.

This the real issue here. Until the AFL are serious about paying umpires correctly for the job they do, this is an issue that will not get solved.

I can guarantee to you that that isn't the case. If I was in Melbourne, you couldn't keep me away. Not being there, however, it is a bit of a strain on the wallet. I really do appreciate the podcast though, guys, and being able to listen to some articulate insights into the Dees is very much welcome!
