i really hope they dont give tommy or jack the 31 jumper, it just creates unwanted pressure. plus there is too many players getting a game with high numbers. just give them numbers like 5 and 9 the high numbers just look messy i'd love to see Tappy in No.1 myself or neitz jumper

is he really that short is he? thought he looked small geez that leap must be big. still i reckon we can get a ruckmen later then 18. i still feel pick 18 is pretty high for a ruckmen unless he looks really good at this age, i reckon LP looked pretty good forward as well, imo id rather see us fill all the holes around the ground and get a ruckmen with a later pick...

i really hope we get liam patrick he plays ruck and gets hes own clearances too, he is the new age ruckmen i reckon we'll slowly see the end of these massive giants like sandilands that dont do heaps around the ground, havent seen much gawn though i must admitt. does anyone know if he can move around the ground at all? or if he has good skills by foot and in the air?

How good are these preseason interviews with players? the papers are just keen to fill a few pages with footy so they will sell, as if jack watts is going to say nah i dont think we need luke ball hes getting on, theres question marks about hes body, hes lost hes penetration in hes kick... must admit though i read the story lol

i do still think ball would be great for us copping all the hits for our younger boys but its pick 18 or nothing for me, i really wouldnt think it would be a wise move getting him with 11 and for the money he wants to its a risk i think. whats the lastest on thorpe? is he any chance or is he completly out of the mix now that we are getting joel mcdonald? (not the i'd consider getting thorpe with 11 or 18) but is he still training with us? Also can an uncontracted player thats training with a club change who he trains with in between the drafts? just wondering because mcdonald is training with North thats all?

i reckon we take a punt on mitch thorp. i know hes apparently a bit of an arrogant [censored] and a bit up himself and hes injury prone but he was a No.6 pick only a couple of years ago and having to fight for a spot in the seniors with roughy and buddy would of made anyones job getting into the seniors hard. I just reckon maybe hes attitude would change knowing hes on hes last chance and we do need another key forward. Although i wouldnt mind having a look at jesse smith the wraps on him a very high but another injury prone player, what position is he most suited too and for that matter does anyone no where joel mcdonald plays as i havent seen much of him play either....?

well said mate. i know what ur saying i have alot of essendon supporter mates and im the only Demon in the group and they say the same sh_t that we are a nothing club and how good there club is and all that bullsh_t but they leave it at that always they never keep having more dips at me. You talk to them indiviually and when there not in there pack together and you start talking about our players they agree and thats why i reckon they dont get into me that much.

But in saying that Ricky please if LJ wants 15 just give it to him!!!!

i reckon the days of the the massive slow big dopey ruckmen are quickly coming to and end. The future ruckman will be in the mold of a mitch clark or a matty kruser. Not to mention hes not even a good massive slow big dopey ruckmen!
