Just wondering if anyone thinks that when we get these high picks should we be putting extra pressure on them by giving them a famous number from the get go...? Only reason i made this topic up was because it just came to my attention that now Paul Wheatley has retired hes famous No. 31 jumper (Ron Barassi's Jumper) is now vacant do you reckon the club will hand it to the number one pick like they did with Norm Smiths No.4 with Jack Watts..? Or could they give David Neitz's No.9 too the first or second pick? Does anyone think that this can create extra pressure on a young player having the burden of wearing the jumper of someone like Ron Barassi? Just wanted people thoughts.... Cheers

Hi guys just wanted to hear a few peoples thoughts on where we all think Brad Miller is at. Me personally i think we could of given Robbo another year because at least he'll kick ya two goals a game and hes proved that over the last decade. Brad Miller though has had in my mind enough chances now, hes been around the club for 8 or 9 years now and i think hes just taking up room up in our forward line. If he hasnt done anything for us yet then when is he going too??? Hes still only 26 this is when footballers usually hit there peak, would we get much for him on the trade table? im thinking later second round? Whats everyones thoughts coz i thought we probably should of traded him a year or two ago.

Couldnt agree with you anymore with what you said with Cam Mooney i've been saying that for years too my geelong friends he is average at BEST, he would not get a kick playing for us in 09. I'm still on the fence as too who id like too see at pick 2 i read one persons point of view with butch and think yeah grab him then some one argues the trengove point and im back on the trengove band wagon.... Hope the MFC recruiters have been doing there home work coz i would not like to be making this decsion. Im leaning towards getting Trengove only because if him and Scully are as good as everyone says then surely if we kick the ball enough times to our forward line our forwards would start kicking a bloody a score. You never no Brad Miller might end up beening our Cam mooney, [censored] but when the ball is delievered on a silver platter it makes life easy. (In saying that i still hope miller gets traded or delisted)
