    GWS or Sydney?

Free agency is not working. It just makes the strongest clubs stronger , Hawthorn, Richmond, Geelong. All it’s good for is creating dynasties

Not starting again no. Just adding the final pieces, a power forward and another winger. We under achieved last year, with two players in the top ten in the Brownlow, 3 in the top 15 in the league in most awards. We will be ripe next year you watch.

Now is our time. We have to recruit for having a tilt at the flag over the next two years. Move on the not quite rights. Bring in what we need and what will make us harder to play against. Age or cost, to a certain extent has no bearing . At some stage you have to pull the trigger.

Might end up something like this. Out - Preuss , Jetta, TMac ,OMac In - Brown, Smith, Phillips, 2nd round pick. Gives us some more outside run , a big forward target and a kid to develop.
  6. It could be something like TMac and Jetta to Collingwood for Tom Phillips and a second round pick

Collingwood apparently making some inquiries about TMac
  8. I wouldn’t put Melksham and Fritsch in the same boat. Melksham was putrid this year. Apart from some wayward kicking Fritsch who is really a medium forward had to take up the slack of the big forwards and put his hand up when basically no one else would, especially Milkshake who had a very lazy year.
  9. Persist with Fritsch????? He is only our most consistent forward the last two years, and probably the best mark in our team. He is a great young talent and I really don’t get the haters.

Gives us what we need, skill level, leadership and the ability to play wing.
  11. Fritsch is a natural half forward flanker, Plays tall or small,so we could use Brown and Weideman in the key posts . Jackson is mobile enough To play the other flank or pocket as a third tall who helps out in the ruck and would be a very difficult match up . Pickett and Melksham or a resting Petracca make up the other two spots.
  12. Id say we would be waiting on a thorough medical and cap space depending on what TMac does. I don’t think Brown will come cheap, especially if the Bummers have made an offer bumping up the price.

Love love love Nev, but he has slowed considerably and there’s no way Goodie can guarantee him games next year. In that case I think he has to get a two year deal with the Pies for his family’s sake and to extend his career.
  14. Tracs goal against the Saints that made it across the line by a bees diaphragm . or Trent Rivers exciting snap against GWS. I think I jumped higher with Trents goal so that just wins for me.

We are just waiting on Smith to decide now , stay at Hawthorn or come across to us.

Confirmed by his manager Michael Pickering that Melbourne are talking to him about Isaac Smith and that we are definitely in the mix

I’d say it’s partly because the Ben Brown deal Is most likely happening.
  18. His talents run very deep . Bit wet behind the ears to start with, but all downstream from here.

Was one of my faves as a kid. I had a Hassa Mann signed 45 rpm Single record of the grand ole flag which was released by Ampol service stations in the 60s
  20. This is why we need isaac Smith as well
  21. Disagree here. Brown is you classic lead up and mark forward whereas Weed is your pack mark type player
  22. If he gets a haircut and reduces his run up I’d take him.

Very glad he has signed on and clearly wants to be a Demon for life. Players like this don’t grow on trees. Gawn, Viney, Petracca, Oliver, May, Salem and Langdon are absolutely core players and must keep along with our young talent in Rivers, Pickett, Jackson, Fritsch
  24. I want Brown and Saad
