The bum pinching Players being delisted Missing finals Covid , had to live together so they are just all over it. Others wanting to leave , like TMac. It was just too soon from seasons end.

There is something else going on. Ross Lyon who is in regular contact with Bennell , said there are more important things than football to sort out in Harleys life at the moment, and probably wouldn’t offer him another contract.

I believe a couple of things stuffed up our season. Playing in the heat in the NT and then two games in a row in putrid conditions in a wet windy Cairns. The terrible form and leadership of senior forwards like Melksham and McDonald who basically forced us to depend on a young inexperienced group of forwards, until Mitch Brown came in, which was too late. There were plenty of positives though, with the form of Petracca and May, the fabulous inclusion of Langdon, and the debuts of three of the best kids we’ve had in a long time in Jackson, Rivers and Pickett. If we can pick up a Saad , a decent forward and another winger along with playing most games in Melbourne, we should surge ahead.

I think that the club would want another 300 game player and therefore keep Jones. This unfortunately would spell doom for Jetta as we can’t keep them both.

I feel like I’m watching the Dees. I guess every team makes lots of silly mistakes in a game.

We look great today. Dry conditions suit our style of play. Bummer those two losses against Freo and Swans We’re in pouring rain and howling winds.

We should send an email to the club with every one of these posts attached So they can get a good cross reference on how members are feeling.

I paid nearly $1800 in memberships for my whole family this year which was basically a donation as we have got no value from it. I called the club and said all I ask is some sort of discount for next season . I would’ve been satisfied with even 20%. The membership team said yes they are looking at discounts for loyal members next season. Then I get automatic renewal notices which I was not happy with at all as it was the same price .I have been on jobkeeper for most of the year and cant afford it now, so I am very disappointed in them.. I can pay in installments, but I’m upset the club have not done anything to help the members in anyway, especially after basically sacrificing $1800 in a year where times are very tough.

At the time of finals in 2018 we beat Hawks and Cats who were both rebuilding and not in scathing form. Hawks since have gone down further, whereas the Cats rebuild turned out a success. We were good but still young and raw and not the team we are now with May , Lever and Petracca mk2. The whole competition has improved as well and other sides have developed, like Saints, Lions, Freo, Suns and Port.

I think we will win well Dogs are red hot and won’t lose. GWS will beat Saints but by not enough. We will miss out by .02 percent
