No Grundy and we still aren’t doing well in the middle. They are playing up tempo footy and we are behind the pace at the moment.

Our defense is all over the place

Lyon and Mitchell would be Favourites for the Blues or Pies.

This looks like being Buckley’s last game, they’ll be fired up.

Love Sam and I really want him to succeed but he is not quite there right now, and not clunking his marks. I have no doubt he will be a good forward, but we have to try Brown again at some stage, so Sam has to go back and work on his craft for a few more weeks, and if Brown fails then he will be right back in. ‘At least we are giving both opportunities to grab that spot. Better to experiment on the right forward combo now than just before finals.

Without two powerhouses in Viney and Langdon too.

Without Viney we really lack that brutality in the middle. We need to change things up completely and I’d even try Jackson as a ruck rover to Gawn taking the ball high.

They look a class above us at the moment.

Then your pulling JJ out of the middle, and Kozzie out of his forward position and melksham out of his mid to forward linking position. Plus you are not losing anything at all if say a Hunt pushes up to the wing. you still have a strong back 6 of May, Lever, Petty, Hibberd, Salem and Rivers. Any way you look at it you have to move someone.

I don’t think Sparrow will play wing, so I’d like to see Hunt and Rivers alternate the position.
