Premiers last year, then win our first 10 games of the season. In comes the Bye, then we fall into a huge hole and out of finals in straight sets. What the hell happened??

Were the second half fade outs , which ultimately cost us our year, lack of fitness or mental attitude? We couldn’t keep up with Brisbane’s run and spread in that second half and it was clearly visible who was working harder.

The fire and intensity were missing all year. Even though we all wanted to see them win one live, there was just something missing this year.

Rivers Salem and Hunt were so bad, it was like we played the game with no half backs. We have a good engine room , but took away a huge strength all year when Brayshaw was down back. No really need to take him away from defense , he was a star there.

Any chance someone could have manned up on Rich?

They had loose players everywhere. Our team defense and pressure was terrible in the second half.

We don’t have a key forward There is no getting outta jail when teams allow us to win the contested ball then pressure us around the contest, sweating on our mistakes, then run and spread .

The motivation for wanting to win it for their supporters and family may be having the opposite affect, as there’s a heavy weight of expectation . Last year they played with more freedom and fun when anything was possible, living away from home together creating that bond. They have no choice but to dig deep and find something really special now.

Hunt and Melksham have been great in the last 5 games but putrid tonight. We just can’t handle that intense pressure . Nibbler was absolutely terrible. Salem was no where to be seen Without Oliver and May we lose that by ten goals plus. We are very Suspect under pressure .
