The team that plays with intensity wins every time this year. We come out with zero intensity every other week. How the hell can they be so complacent? Hunt the [censored] ball for God's sake

They want to reduce the length of games for broadcasters. They've already flagged reducing quarters to 17.5 minutes but there was push back against that. They'll want to bring in a last touch rule to reduce "time on". The other thing they want is higher scoring so channel 7 can cram in more ads. The rule would force teams to play the corridors more which theoretically would lead to higher scoring.

I wonder how many unique members we've had over the last 5 or so years. Someone earlier mentioned about 4k who haven't rejoined from last year, you would think that might be about 10k over the last 5 years (assuming some may drop off then sign on again a year or 2 later)

Robbo was finished by the end too. Loved him but was past his prime.

I of course would be ecstatic to see ONE flag in my lifetime but how good would it be to overtake the Hawks and Pies on the premiership ladder and sit atop with the bombers and blues.

Fantastic to see this. This now sets a base for the club to build off in the coming years in what will hopefully be a period of success. If we can get to 45k in the next 2 years it will be a fantastic effort.

TMac needs to learn to play smarter. He seems to be a pretty switched on player, seeing opportunities for play and ways to cut through opposition zones. The problem is his skill level isn't up to his footy IQ so when he takes the risky options they often come undone as he can't deliver the footy where he wants. If he started taking smarter options and playing the percentages more he would be AA easily. I assume the coaches want him to keep taking the attacking options though as he keeps doing it week in week out

Watching the replay it felt like there was no atmosphere at the ground. Probably had a lot to do with the standard of play but still.

Can't believe those who kept shouting down the idea of getting him in the side, even as a second ruck. Hopefully they saw today exactly what he can bring to the side. He's no superstar but he is a good role player who frees up others to be more dangerous too.

Haven't seen the game yet as had my nephew's christening today - bloody wrapt we won this one and convincingly! Can't wait to watch the replay. Seasons back on track

If they had Queens Bday as a home game every 2nd year theyd just be given an additional away games there during the year (possibly against us).
