  1. Utterly ridiculous, not much is going to change in the next 24 hours - seriously these people are utter morons.
  2. I know what you mean OD so many times mine changes to "ducking" when that is not what I meant at all!
  3. Nah have to keep costs down ?
  4. Oh, so a "road trip for the ages" is just Essendon playing down in Geelong like we do every single bloody year ?
  5. AFL member here too so am hopeful but essendin have a large number of AFL members and they'll be up and about after beating the Eagles in Perth and Hawks on the weekend. Will be spewing if I can't get in, 20% is just plain stupid - just make it 50% for Christ's sake there's basically no covid in Victoria at the moment
  6. Summary for those without a sub?
  7. After two-three weeks of lockdown/restrictions and extremely limited new daily cases which can all be traced I think it is ridiculous to limit crowds to anything below 50% especially when there will be no distancing in the seats etc
  8. Happened at Docklands a few weeks ago against the Dogs as well, very frustrating.
  9. Why 30%? Just make it 50% you idiots
  10. The other key games for the remainder of the year; ROUND 14 Geelong vs Bulldogs (KP) ROUND 15 Brisbane vs Geelong (G) Port vs Sydney (AO) WCE vs Bulldogs (Perth) ROUND 16 Sydney vs WCE (SCG) ROUND 17 Bulldogs vs Sydney (Docklands) ROUND 18 Richmond vs Brisbane (MCG) GWS vs Sydney (GS) ROUND 19 Richmond vs Geelong (MCG) ROUND 20 GWS vs Port (MO) ROUND 22 GWS vs Richmond (GS) ROUND 23 Bulldogs vs Port (Docklands) Brisbane vs WCE (G) By the way, Cats have their last THREE games in Geelong ?
  11. They can extend as long as they want - Kozzie and Rivers extended for 2 years beyond their 2 year rookie contract.
  12. Depends how hard you're willing to play - Cats held out on Kelly and got 2 first round picks and 2 second round picks.
  13. If there's only 25% crowd allowed will MFC members even get in? Probably only those with MCC/AFL Memberships
  14. In the paper (Sun) today it said the Cats stand to lose up to $900k if the game on Friday is played in front of no crowd.
  15. Teams have off games, the trust will be dependent on how we respond against the Bombers and for the rest of the year.
  16. $25k? They make half a million a game down there don't they? The fact is we had the option of playing at the G and we didn't - as a player I'd be pretty annoyed with that. The only thing the club should be worried about at this stage is looking after the players and banking 4 points.
  17. It's not unrealistic, Geelong have been given the option of playing at Kardinia Park in front of no supporters on Friday which they are likely to take. They value the welfare of their players and the 4 points over a few quid.
  18. Don't feel as though you have to justify yourself to online trolls
  19. It was our choice to play there
  20. Furious with this "effort", absolutely pathetic today
  21. Pull your [censored] finger out Demons. Playing lazy footy all day, second to the ball around the contest, no run off half back, no pressure inside 50. It's been a very frustrating performance today.
  22. Whatever you think of him, his evolution of the flood into "Clarkos Cluster" changed the game and won flags. You don't three-peat by just being lucky.
  23. It's not the rules its the way the umpires are coached to "interpret" them.
