Last time I went to the snow was 13 years ago with a group of mates none of who follow Melbourne. While they were snowboarding I sat in the bar. Before that I went once as a kid with my folks but that's it.

The Richmond guys in front of us were very lippy early on, calling Fritsch soft for wearing a glove etc. Didn't hear boo from them from midway through the 2nd ?

They were also shoving us out of every marking/ruck contest without a whistle being blown. Once we started doing it to them but didn't they sook it up (players and supporters)

I'm going to start bringing cheese platters to the footy just cos I know it'll rile up the ferals.

Who cares? They're just jealous we can afford to go to the snow during the winter while a big night out for them is pumping their dole cheques into the pokies

I'd rather he point to the scoreboard than swing a roundhouse. From the first bounce they obviously had a tactic to belt Max around the ears every time he dropped back in the hole in defence and dump players off the ball especially Oliver, Viney and Petracca. Loved the free Viney gave away in the last 2 minutes was right in front of us and he had been dumped after kicking the footy forward a few seconds earlier without a whistle from the umps. Just decided to charge through the Richmond [censored] for some payback and it didn't matter cos the game was well and truly over. Received plenty of applause and cheers from the southern stand wing.

I love it and I love Kozzie. Finally a bit of mongrel in the team and sucking the other team in costing them goals. Would have been icing if Oliver had nailed his as well.

I love these, they were my two big takeaways from the game as well.

This one Im so happy when we were coming up in 2017 we didnt act like those flogs, done absolutely nothing and acting like they cant be touched. I haven't seen a Melbourne team play like this in my lifetime (started following in 1988). The defensive system just strangles sides and our pressure tonight was immense. We out-pressured Richmond (their MO) and had them on the backfoot for 3 and a bit quarters. It was an extremely mature performance. Round 11 will be interesting. Dogs have a deeper midfield but I feel we have a better structure and better weapons at both ends. Can't wait for that game should be a ripper.

I've loved him since his first game against the Swans. Laid a crunching tackle and kicked a great snap for a goal. Always thought he would be better suited closed to goals but his calmness, toughness and silk across half back has been fantastic for us the last year or so.
