Mid Season Report Card
The Dalai Lama has a long memory and will never excuse the actions of Wallis, Long, Hardwick, Solomon and the Johnsons in the 200 GF.

This can't be underestimated. One of my questions I submitted for the zoom meeting they did last year was what sort of induction into the club do new recruits undertake? I think it's important they get schooled on the history of the club to make them appreciate where they are, develop their love for the club and make it more of a footy club rather than just a team. Great to hear Williams is doing this with the new recruits.

COVID & AFL 2021
- What they are saying down at Vulture Street
A lot of them are ex-Fitzroy supporters so may be more humble considering what they've been through?- What they are saying down at Vulture Street
Well he's been dropped for Neale so don't have to worry about being infuriated by him now ?- COVID & AFL 2021
WA doesn't have a public holiday on June 14th is the issue though. Plus additional travel for players.- What they are saying down at Vulture Street
Neale is meant to be playing I believe- What they are saying down at Vulture Street
Most hate-able player in the league - who was it that had the reverse Brownlow thread for unpopular players on here? This f1og wins it by a country mile.- What they are saying down at Vulture Street
Last year the Lions went in with a clear plan to belt Max around the head, jumped into him in marking contests and block him off the footy. Was bloody infuriating to watch. Hopefully we learnt from that and are ready to protect Max this week as he has copped it particularly since the Tigers game.- COVID & AFL 2021
Regardless of who caused it they are still within their rights to take measures to ensure it doesn't spread in their state. The requirements they are imposing on Collingwood seem idiotic though (if this happened to us a few weeks back I'd be furious).- COVID & AFL 2021
Just play it at the G, I doubt they'll get more than a handful of people in Sydney so can't see the point.- COVID & AFL 2021
You can't make this stuff up. I don't understand why they don't just ban spectators for this game if they are so concerned???- COVID & AFL 2021
Let's say one of them does contract covid from a Collingwood player. What is a 2 day iso with a negative test going to prove? Isn't it true that some people may not test positive til days later l, hence the 14 day quarantine periods (which in themselves don't seem sufficient)- Where will we play the Lions?
A doctor of journalism!- Where Will We Play Collingwood? (QB Big Freeze)
Could bring forward the WCE/Tigers game in its place so the Tigers have to spend one less week in Perth. Win/win.- Where will we play the Lions?
That's true, I was more referring to his trip into NSW. Waiting a week to get tested and travelling around while symptomatic was idiotic.- Where will we play the Lions?
"The person, who reported the onset of symptoms on May 25, drove back to Melbourne on May 24 and got tested on May 31. Victoria's stay-at-home measures took effect on May 27." https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-06-01/jervis-bay-and-goulburn-on-alert-melbourne-covid-19-case/100183084 Not sure the person did much wrong, just bad luck.- Membership 2021
The website is shizen and it's Ticketmasters fault, not the club's. Best bet is to call (if you can) next best option would be an email but I emailed an enquiry about purchasing a GF guarantee for my son a few weeks back and had no response so just called up and got it sorted over the phone- Why Can't Sam Complete his Marks?
I think it is definitely confidence with him, you could see how frustrated he was when he dropped that mark that led to Jordon's goal. Check the replay of that goal and you'll see Weideman clearly angry at dropping a relatively straightforward mark. The problem is that when you're down on confidence or missing some easy marks like that you start to try too hard and it is counterproductive. He needs to focus on the basics and get into his flow mindset rather than just pushing himself to try harder. Focus on the basics and the rest will take care of itself. Focus on hitting packs and bringing the ball to ground for our crumbers, focus on the second efforts once the ball hits the ground (tackling, blocking for the smaller forwards) focus on working hard defensively when the opposition has the footy. Do this and he'll prove his worth to the team; kick a couple of goals each week when they present as well like they did in the 3rd quarter against the dogs and he'll prove to be a valuable contributor to the team.- Where will we play the Lions?
SCG may have 3 other games this weekend, 4 games would make it very choppy by Sunday - What they are saying down at Vulture Street
