  1. good effort, poor execution from the senior players.. feel sorry for mitch clark, sitting it on his head with 3 defenders every chance we get. we have had more disposals, both cont and uncon, tackles 19-6 their way, frees 12-1, 2 big stats where we are getting smashed i50's and clearances are pretty even which is a good sign, just got to use it better
  2. i like what ive seen from an intensity standpoint so far.. only early days but nice start. Not getting smashed in the clearances like last week.. much improved

    NFL

Im generally one of "those" NFL fans, that jumps on board at this time of season, and while its true again this season, i have watched more games than i normally would. I understand the game at a generic level, but i do love the fact that every single game counts, unlike baseball and to an extent basketball. the main reason is that ive never had a team to go for, and after watching the college national game last year and seeing newton dominate, has turned me into small panthers fan. So i look foward to the next few weeks, just hoping that the giants or saints dont get up.
  7. Pretty damn good article, especially since it comes from the HS. Looks like the boys are ticking some boxes, gysberts looks like he is putting on a little bit contary to some training reports. Preseason coming along well
  8. Teens' exodus a Giant worry for Greater Western Sydney Such a sad, sad, story. Ha, ha!
  9. Pat cummins has looked right at home so far today.
  10. bit unrelated, but didnt want to start a new thread "RalphyHeraldSun Mark Neeld couldn't have been tougher on Aaron Davey on 3AW. Basically said he plays VFL if he can't fill the role required of him "
  11. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/melbourne-and-north-melbourne-to-get-extra-crack-at-greater-western-sydney/story-e6frf9jf-1226175679244
  12. best show ever! - simple and the seasons keep getting better and better, they dont peter? out like some other series (lost, prison break), cannot wait for the 5th and final season! edIt: i know its off topic, but it should really have its own thread its that good, and if anyone is wondering, tv show breaking bad - get on it
  13. Synes offers Clark #11 http://www.heraldsun...t-1226169127861
  14. Thoughts on offering one of compensation picks, the one which is dirtectly after your 1st pick, so that when gws finish last next year they get picks 1 and 2.. we still get 1 compo pick and omeara?
  15. we should tank the [censored] out of next season, say finish 3rd last, get picks 3,4,9 and just go bang from then
  16. I dont see what the big deal about him going up there and checking it out.. he would be neglect if he didn't. He is just sussing out what they have got to offer then he will decide, simple.
  17. my post deleted, lol seriously? accurate opinions arent valid in here?
  18. gold coast announced theirs over a few days/weeks, so no suprise that scully wasnt done today.
  19. walls is a complete [censored].. seriously.. this guy has no idea what so ever sure he makes a valid point or two later on in that article, but that line obliterates any potential credit. Also the line "His left-foot kicking throws opponents off, and it is sharp and precise off the boot." isnt that toms weak point at the moment and one that he is working on, with his handballs being "shar and precise". i suppose judd is a pure outside player as well? how does this bloke have a job? "The downside for Scully is that he is so small. At 182 centimetres and weighing in at 77 kilograms, he is dwarfed by the dominant midfielders of the competition. Scott Pendlebury is nine centimetres taller and Dane Swan 15 kilograms heavier. There is no doubt he will add more muscle, but he will never be the size that will allow him to dominate in heavy traffic." So when he does put on the bulk he is a whole 3 cm shorter than swan? pointless artivle from a pointless "expert"
