Stuff drafting a kid, poach a key forward.
Need some better kicks and intelligenceup field. Shame Salem has been well below par since 2021. In Van Rooyen, Fritsch, Petty we have all the pieces to the forward puzzle.

Farewell Jayden Hunt
Hunt always had a real crack, and seemed like a great clubman. He never quite seemed to recapture the form he showed before getting knocked out in a crows game. Good luck to him. His footy was definitely better than his drawing though 😂:
- Why does the media continue to use illness as an excuse for Geelong’s Prelim final loss in 2021?

Why aren't we a destination club?
haha how good was he in 2002!

Why aren't we a destination club?
Cerra wanted to come last year, we didn't have the cap space/picks to get the deal done. I think we are doing ok.
- What a waste of a season!

Home Ground Attendance % per membership
In addition to this, I thought Friday's final was VERY poorly attended by Swans fans 🤣 https://www.roymorgan.com/findings/9029-afl-supporter-ladder-april-2022-202207260047

Between the Flags - a great new book on the MFC
I've read up to the start of the Daniher era. Wonderful book. Some nice anecdotes that I haven't heard of either.

Only the best memories of Sean Wight. He is remembered at the Heritage Golf club with this plaque for an albatross!

The Reason Behind Demon’s Form Slump
@binmanDees were excellent tonight, but I also thought we were on the end of "reverse loading". ie Brisbane might be going through their own high intensity training. Brisbane barely got out of a walk after half time and were absolutely cooked - we should have won by 100+ points. I wonder if we tapered off for the last week or so given we had lost 3 in a row, had lots of key injuries and external issues (ie May). Goodwin and Yze definitely used the words "refresh" in the media this week. The result suggests we did. If we did taper off, what affect does that have on us down the track? The return game will be very interesting.

PODCAST: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Well you could be right, last season was a very long one, and while we breezed through our finals, by all reports we trained HARD in those six weeks in Adelaide/Perth. We could just be out of puff. Time will tell. The effect of having an unsettled side is underestimated. The ins/outs this year is no comparison to last year. It's quite extraordinary that we got to 10-0.

PODCAST: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Yup trying to conserve full stop. At the ground it's very obvious in the last 3 games that we have been running on the spot in the second half. And it triggers a knock on that affects everything we are trying do. Petracca has looked gassed for a while, he must be carrying something, last year no one could stop him with a tackle, he's getting caught all the time now. An interesting month ahead.

PODCAST: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
@binman A perfect storm of loading, an unsettled side and punch ons in french restaurants has appeared to beleaguer the club. Did you notice in the third quarter we seemed to really want to ice the clock (short passes)? I also noticed that Gawn was warming up on the bench toward the end of the third term, but then as we managed to hold the pies at that point he went back to sitting on the bench. Would it be a fair observation to say that we were trying to hold Collingwood in that 3rd quarter for a last roll of the dice in the last? Loading, loading, loading. We have a hard run home, hopefully this calculated program pays off

Leon Cameron Steps Down
If anyone watched the Amazon Series "making their mark" Leon Cameron came out of that looking like a fairly man manager to be honest. I'm not surprised the giants haven't done better.
