There's plenty to work with for Toumpas also, but i wouldn't expect a rival club to offer anymore then a fringe player plus 3rd round pick or a 2nd rounder on it's own.Don't think you'll see any 1st round picks being thrown out.

Scope for improvement is very large! Offer Grimes or Watts and our 3rd round pick. Was very good at junior level and we know he'll love playing for the club.

I wouldn't trade Howe for a 2nd Round Pick, but at the same time if he does stay i wouldn't play him forward either. Howe's proved to be a lazy forward who lacks work rate, so if he were to stay i'd rather see Howe at half back and Garland thrown forward. Just my opinion anyway.

If the Bennell rumors turn out untrue and it's the filth that's Howe's club of choice, the question comes down to suitabe compensation. Draft Pick not needed and questions surround Kennedy & Seedsman's hardness. What about Jackson Ramsay? Tough HBF with scope to eventually move into the midfield. A nice kick also. Played the first 5 or 6 games this year and was going well until he suffered the Sam Frost toe and missed the rest of the year.

Still think he can become a very handy player for us. Just needs to work on his defensive game and I believe he has the ability to keep the pressure on the likes of Garlett & Kent. Having said that, he needs a good 2016.

Saints supporter mate of mine at work who's pretty ontop of a lot of things happening there reckons their plan is to trade Pick 5 to Gold Coast for Pick 10 (Dixon trade) and Gold Coast's 2nd round Pick 22. Will then trade Pick 10 for Carlisle and their own 2nd round Pick 24 for Freeman, still giving them Pick 22.

Reckon we'd be more likely to go with Mathieson ahead of Tucker.But then again if this Bennell rumor is true, then we wont have a pick that high anyway!

Howe to the Filth Freeman to the Aints Nathan Wright to the Dees? Disposal isn't great, but tough as nails, runs hard and has a good turn of pace.

Worst case scenario it'll probably cost about our 4th round draft pick as he's not considered a top draft candidate, so we'd likely be able to get him in the rookie draft. Personally though i suspect we may pass on him all together. Didn't get a run with Vic Country, seldom in the best for the Stingrays and an inside mid which we have a plethora of when we're looking for outside run. Hope he gets picked up by someone, but suspect it may not be us.

We're still in a great position to land him. More cap space and better draft pick.

I would take that, although Collingwood's 3rd round pick would probably be more realistic.

Not against Treloar, but he doesn't excite me anywhere near as much as the others mentioned. If we were to target someone from GWS i'd prefer Josh Kelly. Fits our needs better.
