Not against Treloar, but he doesn't excite me anywhere near as much as the others mentioned. If we were to target someone from GWS i'd prefer Josh Kelly. Fits our needs better.
-
CHB next year. One of Dunn or Garland to go forward depending on match ups.
-
Related to Terry?
-
Danger, Harlett, Prestia, O'Meara. Please god let us get one!
-
Jamie Bennell was delisted a few years back.
-
My concern about him is that he's had good VFL seasons in the past and it hasn't translated into results when he played Geelong seniors. Vaguely recall him kicking 9 in the VFL a few years back, getting picked for Geelong and then barely touching it the following week. If we move Dawes on then i wouldn't be against picking him up with maybe our 4th round draft pick as Hogan insurance.
-
I'm not against it as long as the price is right. He helps out run & spread and doesn't come with the WADA issues that Melksham does.
-
real upsets last night. Samoa got the job done in an entertaining match v USA. Wales accounted for Uruguay easily and Argentina gave a good account of themselves v The All Blacks with a 16-26 loss.
-
Happy for him to stay, but think he should moved forward to allow Frost to develop.

Well i'm going to take that as a good omen as Hay List was always my favourite horse!Don't forget, Hay List never got to have a shot at Black Caviar when it was right at the top of it's form.

Delistings/trades at end of the season

I'll go for 2018 EH. Allow for finals run next year and near miss the following. Also gives us tome to find that forward who pinch hits in the ruck to support Hogan. -

Ok, given some of the news today i'm going to give my best Prendergast impersonation, but much more optimistic this time! Currently 6 senior list spots vacant. Promote Vandenberg, Harmes, White Delist but re-rookie M. Jones & Terlich Trade Toumpas, Pick 6 & Pick 43 to Port for Harlett, Pick 29 & Pick 65. Trade Howe to Gold Coast for Gorringe & Pick 19. Trade Grimes & Pick 19 to Hawthorn for (what i suspect will be) Pick 16. Trade Pick 29 to Essendon for Melksham. Pick up Dangerfield as a free agent. 9mill over 6 years. Delisted free agents: Cameron Giles & Daniel Markworth. National Draft Pick 16: Mitchell Hibberd Pick 25: Kurt Mutimer Rookie Draft: Jack Watson -
Not wrong Macca, we've certainly scored the group of death. We could well top the group, but at the dame time there's every chance we could miss the knock out stage all together. England and Wales are both very good teams and Fiji is capable of anything on their day. That win by Japan also turns that group on it's head with both Samoa and Scotland no doubt loving their chances to go through in their group. As you said Macca, the knock outs is where it really gets interesting. Also looking forward to the haka off between New Zealand and Tonga when they meet in the group stage!

Pick 6 for Harlett & Pick 29 which we use to then ontrade to Bombers for Melksham. Means we hold onto 25.

Champion person and champion player who deserved the chance to go around one more year. Especially considering one of his replacements is going to be Jake Melksham!

BUMP Given i started this last one, i thought i should bring it up again given Rugby World Cup 2015 has started. Being held in the UK this year. Kicked off last night with England beating Fiji 35 - 11. Australia in a very tough group with England and Wales, so even getting to the quarter finals will be an effort. Fiji and Uruguay the other teams in their group. Anymore people taking more of an interest in this World Cup then the last one?

Good player. Can we on trade Melksham for him? -
Boring weekend of semi finals. Half way through the semi finals i turned it over to Fox Sports 2 to watch Tonga v Georgia in the Rugby World Cup instead.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM

If true, it's a poor trade from our end! -
My interpretation of what my source said is that Grimes is more concerned about getting touches/his own game then he is playing his role.On the flip side you have someone like Garland who gets criticized a lot on here for not being attacking enough, yet the coaches still had him 7th in the B&F. As for Moore though, i think he fits our needs nicely. Big bodied mid who can also do a job forward and in defence. A definite get for me!
-
Agree with you there.

True. Was held back with injuries instead. 7 Senior VFL games in his first year before he picked up his injury. Only got back from tne jinjury late this season for two games in the D League and was chopped after that. Could well be the injury has killed his break away pace. If so, i too would loose my interest.
