  1. Chris Johnson has been delisted by carlton. http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/104309/default.aspx Don't want a thread to bag the guy as im sure he tried to do what was best for himself. Good luck to him in the future whatever it holds. I just thought he walked out on us for a 3 year contract and we would only offer him 2. Im obviosly mistaken on this did we only offer him 1 year and carlton gave him 2?
  2. Watching on TV you could hear the umpire say he had prior opurtunity. If the ball gets knocked free without prior op then incorrect disposal is forgiven. Im sure this is the rule.
  3. Would definately give first round pick for Trengove, Vickery or Hampson as long as we don't finish bottom 2. If we did finish 15th id still strongly consider Trengove and Vickery.
  4. Bail 3-4. Surely this is the last of his bad luck. Only really gives him 8 or 9 games to come back and prove something this year. Hope he can do it.
  5. Ricky's last 5 twitter posts all seem like he will stay. Going to watch my old Surfers Paradise Demons play in great conditions on the goldy! Cant wait to watch the real DEES in action tonight! * Back home on the gold coast now, ive definately brought the weather with me..cant wait to watch Dees tomoro!! (Edit:Bits in bold were bloded by me not Ricky.)
  6. One of the commentators from the Port Adelaide game was raving about how good our backline is. (Oviously before the last quarter) Then said the best thing about it was they could all play together for ten years, mentioning Warnock. Great effort for Warnock to play until his 36.
  7. What i don't understand is the difference between these two.I must be missing something. Both have 5 activation points resulting in a level 2 offence. Moloneys draws 250 demerit points but Schulz's only gets 125. Moloney's The incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and high contact (two point). This is a total of five activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Two offence, drawing 250 demerit points and a two-match sanction. He has an existing five-year good record, reducing the sanction by 25 per cent to 187.50 points and a one-match sanction. An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to 140.63 points and a one-match sanction. Schulz's The incident was assessed as intentional conduct (three points), low impact (one point) and body contact (one point). This is a total of five activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Two offence, drawing 125 demerit points and a one-match sanction. He has no existing good or bad record. He has a five-year good record which reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record. An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to a reprimand and 70.31 points towards his future record.
  8. I Need some new tyres. Got to be Hankook. Does anyone know where i can get them close to the Ringwood area? Is Hankook1 still around? I checked the Hankook website it only has the bigger suppliers and there is none conveniently located for me. All help appreciated.
  9. Played VFL on the weekend here is the coach's review. Rohan Bail - Kicks 7, Marks 2, Handballs 5, Tackles 3 Rohan got through his first game in three weeks. He came on and showed some of that trademark run that he’s got in his game. He set up some midfield connections and handball linkage and setup. He played around the wing and half forward, and a bit on the ball, and he got through, which is good. Hopefully he’ll build on that now.
  10. If there is a question mark on Bate you almost have to bring him in. He will at least offer a target. Something we severly lack at times. A lot depends on the playing group i think, his presence out there might just add some extra confidence to the younger guys and even if he doesn't do much he might add a lot to the side. FD should know best though.
  11. I know its a different Stadium but hard to believe we got 36000 against a team relocated out of Melbourne and then only 26000 against an actual Melbourne based team. Not good signs for both teams really at 26000. What is the break even point for games at that 'stadium? '
  12. I heard he played on Collingwoods Ben Reid. Who was a #8 pick in 2006. Who was taken 4 spots before our beloved Chip. At this in Watts development stage would you be worried if he played on Chip and was beaten? I wouldn't.
  13. Couldn't be anything major or they wouldn't wait a week and risk being 'scooped' by someone else.
  14. Swap Talia for Black and you have got my closet to pin. Albeit in a different order. Really hoping Burgan knows his stuff.
  15. A big part of me hopes we pick just to call his bluff. Another part hopes Fremantle of Port pick him just to see him have to move interstate.
  16. I couldn't help it. Something about the 'be honest' in big capital letters made me do it.
  17. Most people on here must of never done anything stupid when they were younger. Give a guy a second chance for f**ks sake. If Dane Swan was in the PSD would you all be saying pass on him? As he has done the same thing. If he is good enough take him. His past will probably make him slide a little bit anyway which should make him worth more than we get him for.
  18. 1. Trengove 2. Scully 11. Black 18. Taylor 34.Gawn 50. Patrick PSD. Thorp Black and Watts should make a very moblie hard working strong marking pair and run the bigger defenders off there legs. Combine that with the natural Brilliance of Jurrah, Taylor and Patrick rotating forward and up the ground and you have a very mobile dangerous forwardline. Gawn being a big unit will give Scully and Trengove first use of the ball. Thorp's a longshot but little risk using a psd pick.
  19. PJ could do all that all that and more. Good on him for having a crack i wish him well. He's a yank he doesn't know he should hate Collingwood.
  20. Glad we are using 34 ive heard it said you could throw a blanket over picks 10-30. IF this is the case surely 34 could easily turn out as good or better than 11 and 18.
  21. Seems very strange to me that Ball still wants to go to Collingwood. Although he hasn't said anything so maybe now he wants to go to Essendon or the Bears. He is leaving Stkilda as he thinks he is undervalued there yet seems happy to go to Collingwood who value him worth less than pick 30 and a player who is yet to play a game.
  22. Spider Burton was tall and he could..... well yeah that was about it for him. Still like look of Gawn Bailey from Hawthorn may make a few people think twice about drafting one so tall with early knee problems.
  23. I have also been thinking about this guy. Does anyone know much about his work around the ground. At 206cm could be just the guy we need to give our emerging mids first use of the ball.
  24. 1 Scully 2 Trengove 11 Butcher/Black 18 Mitch Duncan/Troy Taylor 34 Tom Hill/Max Gawn
  25. Any chance we could rookie Whelan and bring him in in for this game?
