  1. The price for all the directions is a training report!!
  2. Go on my diet for 9 weeks and I;ll guarantee it will change your body shape....
  3. Sorry my bad. You are right. They do some work in the altitude rooms, sleep in dorms there (at altitude) but can also train at sea level.
  4. Season 4 he missed pre-season with a finger injury. Shouldn't have hurt him fitness wise. Was available round 1. Shocking year and clear he wouldn't go near his man nor win many contested possesions. His outside work was ordinary and his defensive efforts were pretty much non-existent. For mine he was a write off after that year. Soft as butter. Sadly I remember most of Cale's games. About 5 good ones. My essential point is that players have to step up from their junior form. SOme do. Some don't. Its about work ethic and effort. For many players they don't make the transition. We hold on to players for way too long generally. Newton was here for 5 seasons and aside from some early promise never delivered other than his final quarter against Nth in his final year (when he missed 3 set shots on goal). We persevered with Hughes for 5 years. If you don't get the comparisons It aint my fault,
  5. First decent coach? Bailey was OK given his hands tied behind his back. You must also be saying that their value is close to zero now? And I would suggest that if they are close to zero then we are better off bringing in an unknown draft pick with potential than a known potential that isn't very high. Think Cale Morton - the decision to cut him should have been made years ago. You can't keep giving people 73 games for nothing. Think Newton, think Danny Hughes - the list is endless..
  6. Well we don't have a lot of speed... Who is the fastest kid in the top 15 likely picks??
  7. You must be blind....
  8. Dees coach lauds boosted midfield stocks Pretty happy with Tyson and the two senior players in Cross and Vince...
  9. IF Malthouse didn't win the flag with Collingwood he would undoubtedly be a failure. The fact he won it in twelfth year at the Pies was very lucky for his legacy as a coach.
  10. Indeed. And you think some of her horses go.......
  11. I think its a disgrace as well but I think you are wring on one point. Watters was to report to Pelchen I believe.
  12. Which is all you need. I had a tour of the Footscray campus altitude rooms (with the Doggies in attendance) and the new wisdom is that you 'train high and live low'. That is do your work at altitude but its better for you if you sleep at normal altitude levels. They said the Arizona thing was good but you didn't need to go to that expense and in fact it may be detrimental (to fitness levels) by living at altitude for a month or so..
  13. Err Captain Obvious .....
  14. Just ask Brad Sewell.....
  15. Really? Ahead of the Queens birthday fixture? I don't think so....
  16. And people here were slashing their wrists when we failed to draft him....
  17. His work ethic on field was atrocious. Would play off his man by about 4-5m and could never catch up when they got the ball. Had no appetite for a contest (sadly similar to Watts in that regard) and spent his last 2 yrs running around behind play trying to get an easy ball. Sorry but he was a dud in every regard as far as I am concerned. 73 wasted games.
  18. Yeah the broadcasters will be lining up to show the dees in prime time.....
  19. Just like our opening rounds in the past 3 yrs.... We haven't won an opener since 2005. F$%#*)(_) disgraceful.
  20. Not entirely true, Terlich was on the Swans rookie list and Roos got rid of him I believe.
  21. I wish Morton only payed 23 games. Sadly he played 73 games. What a spud.
  22. Where have you read we are playing St Kilda?
